It's more natural to use snaktype "no vales" for unit-less properties instead of special item, as shown in count of students (P2196). The "not applicable" in a property documentation can be localized by Module:I18n/property documentation. -- Sergey kudryavtsev (talk) 13:12, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
- The problem with "no value" is that it's not necessarily clear for everyone what it means. Using an item allows it to be localized there. --- Jura 13:46, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Regarding to multiple concepts
Dear, Do we have the concepts of multiple for a unit of measurements? for instances: thousand, million, billion, or trillion. These terms are commonly used when mentioning about money or population. Could we consider these as units of measurement? It is OK if I add thousand, million, and billion as a unit used for property P1082 (population). Phucnt.nii (talk) 09:32, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
