How to use?
editOpposition to Wikidata:Property proposal/Directory of Open Access Journals ID, now Directory of Open Access Journals ID (P5115), pointed to P3303. On ISSN (P236) it is used, but how can one mark an individual item? For example at International Journal of Molecular Sciences (Q3153277) it says that two ISSN exists in DOAJ ("stated in"), but no use of P3303.

Again, User:ArthurPSmith proposed to use P3303, this time at Wikidata:Property proposal/Deutsche Biographie person ID: /Yes, but that was after a long discussion that still left some doubts there should be a better way. third-party formatter URL (P3303) was designed for this - so I guess the question here is whether there's a similar issue that this dataset covers only a subset of what's in the full GND identifiers list (which I'm guessing is the case). ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:12, 27 June 2018 (UTC)/
But it is still unclear how to use the formatter, AND to indicate at the item that a project has information for that topic. The alternative site could only have a subset covered, how is that marked? 2.247.46.35 12:13, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
What qualifier to use to indicate who is "providing" the URL pattern?
editFor example, how can I give the following {{|P3303}} for WikiPathways ID (P2410) provided by the PubChem (Q278487)? --Egon Willighagen (talk) 05:08, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I see it now: operator (P137). Solved. --Egon Willighagen (talk) 05:17, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
Can we capture groups?
editIs it possible to capture groups in a regular expression so rather than just using
we could also use $1
etc.? Some of the At Property:P1297#P3303, some of the values need a dash, and some of them need to omit the dash. Daask (talk) 18:58, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
