Applicability to characters who get older edit

Hi, I somehow missed the property proposal discussion otherwise I would have commented there. The description (and proposal) says that this should only be used for characters that have always the same age. I don't think that this is necessary: One could confine the statement to a certain work (or even chapter) via qualifiers (e.g. present in work (P1441) or time index (P4895)).

My reasons for thinking about opening this property for the age of all fictional characters: 1) In my opinion it is generally not a good idea to express the same kind of information (intra-narrative age of a fictional character) in multiple ways (as a qualifier to present in work (P1441) vs. as a main statement), 2) that a character doesn't get older might change in the future - there might be spin-offs or expansions of the original story featuring this character at an older age (this is for example the case with the property example Monica (Q6899893); according to Monica there are depictions of her at age 4, 7 and 15).

I would just change the description of the property if nobody objects. One could move all cases in which the age is expressed via present in work (P1441)/age of subject at event (P3629) to this new property. (pinging @Sturm: as the proposer of this property). -Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 12:04, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Sturm: I qualified the age-statement at Monica (Q6899893) according to the proposal above and changed the description of this property. I hope this is ok. - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 15:10, 27 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
