NSZL edit

Hi, please note the difference between NSZL (VIAF) ID (P951) and NSZL name authority ID (P3133). – Máté (talk) 05:23, 11 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi,Máté Thank you very much for the information. Sorry for the mistake.--Hard (talk) 09:07, 13 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

DBCS edit

Hello Hard, this is wrong I'm afraid. Database of Classical Scholars ID (P1935) is for the Database of Classical Scholars (Q20080428). Thanks! Jonathan Groß (talk) 09:06, 10 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi,Jonathan Groß Thank you very much for the information. Sorry for the mistake.--Hard (talk) 14:12, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much, Jonathan. A cordial greeting --Hard (talk) 15:20, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Self-referencing given name edit

Hi,

First, thank you for all your work. Keep going! But as you may have seen, I reverted you on item where you added the person as the first name (given name (P735)) of the person itself.

Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 13:39, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello,VIGNERON

Thanks for the warning. Sorry for the mistake. I will try to be more careful in the future. a cordial greeting,--Hard (talk) 14:18, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

No problem, there was only a few and this is the kind of mistake easy to spot. Thank you for your work. Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 14:52, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Consejo edit

Ciao! Sannita - not just another it.wiki sysop 22:42, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Buongiorno, @Sannita:

Authority control properties edit

Hi. I saw you adding few properties here and there that will lead to property constraint violations:

  • Australian IDs belong to Libraries Australia ID (P409)   instead of NLA Trove people ID (P1315)  . The latter can be inferred from the first by a Trove search via [2]. Just search for the ID without leading zeroes.
  • RERO IDs begin with "02-A" instead of "vlts". Just replace those directly when adding the property.

I personally use a script to add properties semi-automatic from VIAF, which I try to keep updated. For the most part it works great, but sometimes some manual work is still required. Here is the script: User:Sotho_Tal_Ker/authority_control.js. You can add it to your personal common.js like this: User:Sotho_Tal_Ker/common.js. If used, you will have a new tool available in the left sidebar. Happy editing. --Sotho Tal Ker (talk) 23:01, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello,Sotho Tal Ker,Thank you very much for your warning. Although I have been collaborating on Wikipedia and Wikidata for years, there are many issues that I am unaware of. I do not know much informatics, but I will try to put into action what you tell me. A cordial greeting,Hard (talk) 16:43, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oh, it's not a warning, just some hints to improve the editing process in general. :-) Happy editing. --16:38, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

Ulla Pia edit

Please note that the death place of Ulla Pia (Q177618), which you removed, was in fact properly referenced. --Hjart (talk) 09:59, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello,Hjart. Excuse my contribution. My intention was not to delete but to transfer said information. He wanted to prevent two pieces of information from appearing at the place of death. Currently it appears that he died in the Gammel Holte (Denmark) and also in Copenhagen.I will not make any changes. A cordial greeting, Hard (talk) 10:18, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Please note that that Gammel Holte (Q12313473) (area north of Copenhagen where she more precisely lived at the time she died) is marked as preferred over Copenhagen. Because it's preferred, the infobox in the danish WP page, which lists the values in wikidata, only shows "Gammmel Holte", not both values. --Hjart (talk) 10:51, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I think that since the Spanish infobox lists both values, there must be an error with the infobox code. It should list the preferred value only. --Hjart (talk) 11:02, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Václav Kahuda edit

I dared to undo your edit of Q9369209, which was in fact removing additional info, and replacement a good source with a tabloid, which is bringing no additional related info. Neither source currently states exact date / day, only night. Regards, —Mykhal (talk) 14:14, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message. Indeed, it was a mistake to delete that information. a cordial greeting. Hard (talk) 14:33, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have checked the news sites. Some of the sites started to state specific date (though I did not see official info yet), so I'm going to update the info. —Mykhal (talk) 15:16, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
