EMPTY00 edit

Hi Makki. When you merge items and you want one of them to be deleted, please request the deletion rather than adding the EMPTY00 label. You can use MediaWiki:Gadget-Merge.js and MediaWiki:Gadget-RequestDeletion.js to make this easier. Thanks! Pichpich (talk) 19:12, 28 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Babel edit

Babel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3|es-1|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. With the same language codes you can add links to your userpage on Wikipedia e.g. de:User:User123. --Tobias1984 (talk) 22:44, 24 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Taxa edit

It would be helpfull if you could add taxon name (P225) and taxon rank (P105) to your items. Thanks. --Succu (talk) 15:51, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Q9042797 edit

Why did you mixed category with template? --Infovarius (talk) 14:43, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I didn't notice that these are templates. I mixed mistakenly between the two. Makki98 (talk) 00:46, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I'll split them. --Infovarius (talk) 08:55, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Deleting items edit

After merging items, you should report the empty one to WD:RFD where it will be deleted by an administrator. Do not substitute descriptions with delete00, it's useless. Cheers, — TintoMeches, 23:12, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please follow the advice given here. Please also don't reuse items, if you want to have an item about a new subject, create a new one, don't reuse old/ empty items for that. Cheers, Hoo man (talk) 03:32, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your edits. I would also like to remind you that when you empty an item you should request its deletion at WD:RfD. Perhaps you could use the merge gadget mentioned below? It will do it automatically and make it a lot easier for us admins to clean up. Cheers. Delsion23 (talk) 16:49, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Merging items edit

Hallo Makki98,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the emptied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

MycoBank taxon name ID (P962) edit

Hello Makki98, I had to revert your recent additions (e.g. in Endogone argentina (Q26777443) ([1]), because you are adding a wrong value. http://www.mycobank.org/Biolomics.aspx?Table=Mycobank&MycoBankNr_=241917 points to Ascochytella depazeoides. My bot added the correct value. --Succu (talk) 06:17, 4 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Translation request edit

Hello.

Can you translate and upload en:Baku State University, en:Baku Zoo and en:Azərpoçt in Arabic Wikipedia?

They should not be long.

Yours sincerely, Sarvathi (talk) 14:15, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

cryptogam edit

The term "cryptogam" is obsolete. It included plants, fungi, algae, lichens, bacteria. --EncycloPetey (talk) 00:44, 29 March 2020 (UTC) agree. thanks for the clarification. -Bluemoon2999 (talk) 01:47, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
