"Instance of painting"

Hi Multichill,

Not a major problem, but the Metropolitan Museum does not appear to state that Tazza (Q20188252) is a painting, unlike what your bot had added. Unsure where that comes from (the museum's description uses the word "painted" but not "painting"). Thats seems to concern quite a few objects classified by the museum as ceramics. --Zolo (talk) 20:43, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

A couple of non-paintings slipped through. I think we got most of them by now, but probably still a few out there. Multichill (talk) 09:54, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
I can find maybe a dozen more here taking advantage from the fact that the bot added "painting by Chinese" rather than "anonymous painting". But indeed, probably not that much of them left. --Zolo (talk) 10:14, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
I used scrapi.org. described at https://github.com/jedahan/collections-api (now appears to be down) to get the data. The search was to only return paintings, but for some reason other things got in there too. Sarah fixed a ton of them. The leftovers tend to surface in the different reports, but the ones by anonymous artists are hidden quite well. Multichill (talk) 14:37, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

Ok thanks, I've turned a few of them into instances of crock (Q3399907), which sounds rather clumsy, but seems to be correct. -Zolo (talk) 08:32, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

q Peasant Brawl (Q17276195)

it can only be on one location (P276), please correct--Oursana (talk) 22:46, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

You come here to complain after you messed up that item yourself? I take great care in my uploads and it's extremely frustrating to find out that you removed the collection so I end up creating another item because I can't find it.
Sure, I'll add more info to improve it. Are you also going to fix all the mistakes you made? I'll make you a nice list on your talk page. Multichill (talk) 23:00, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the shiny new personalized upgrade!

Dear Multichill, thanks so much for your assistance with my recent query on Wikidata:Project chat#Yiddish language in Hebrew alphabet, especially the push to load Babel boxes onto my User page here. I may be back for advice when I try tweaking them a bit. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 09:27, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

You're welcome. Help:Babel got a bit more information. Multichill (talk) 10:04, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Follows/followed by ... the difficulties

Stumbled over Listen to Your Father (Q1855123) with its loose "followed by", and for the life of me I cannot think of what would be the parent. I would have gone with "single" but that is obviously not sufficient. Guide me!?! I think half the issues for people is not knowing the parent, they just know that it follows or precedes, and the other half is that maybe we may not have the suitable parent. Thoughts? Thanks  — billinghurst sDrewth 23:30, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Q Napoleon Leading the Army Over the Alps (Q20745461)

[1] I just want to warn you about your bot--Oursana (talk) 15:52, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

@Oursana: thanks for fixing it. Looks like the infobox at en:Napoleon Leading the Army Over the Alps (Kehinde Wiley) tricked it into adding the other image. Would be nice to have an image of the right painting. Multichill (talk) 15:56, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
Yes, but it's contemporary, it is linked--Oursana (talk) 16:10, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
