Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Merging items

Hallo Tostarpadius,

When you are merging items, please use the Merge.js gadget. It helps you nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Funkar inte alltid hundra med alla webbläsare. Men nu när jag slipper begära radering, går det faktiskt bättre.

Jag såg dig lägga samman objekt om "Antoine de Noailles". Jag har lagt in en svensk och en polsk "label" nu, dvs "rubrik" på dessa objekt. Komplettera gärna med det när du springer förbi! SBL and Isak Johan Quensel

I saw that you 2017-01-11T05:40:07‎ added the SBL attribute thanks for Isak Johan Quensel. As Isak Johan Quensel is part of an article about the family - Quensel, släkt - we dont use the SBL property on the profile just on the facts as birth and death. Compare Jakob P. De la Gardie that has a SBL article 17379 ==> we set P3217 on the profile

As SBL 17379 is the same as Q553292 see Q553292#P3217 - Salgo60 (talk) 16:20, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Merging

Hi Tostarpadius, if you merge please make sure not to merge different things only because they share the same name:

• a list of cars instance of (P31): Wikimedia list article (Q13406463)
• ≠ article about cars

Feminist or Woman rights' activist

Hello. I cannot understand what you are doing by changing and creating items that seems either on the same subject (Feminist or Woman rights' activist), or on two différents subjects but with an inappropriate title and properties (cf. I will restore it. "Kvinnorättskämpe" is the same as "Woman right' activist" (not "activism"), and that is not the same as "Feminist". In most languages they have separate categories. Do not think you understand Swedish when you don't. Tostarpadius (talk) 13:44, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
