Motivation edit
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation publishes a large volume of news articles, radio programs and other creative works that are assigned to one or more "topics" (the subject of this this property proposal). By adding ABC "topics" as main values to Wikidata items for locations/towns/cities, commodities, class of events, etc allows some useful queries to be performed outside of Wikidata, but using Wikidata to build that query:
- List ABC news articles related to one or more Australian towns or regions
- List ABC news articles related to one or more commodities or category of product or service
- List ABC news articles or radio broadcasts featuring mention of a particular Australian prime minister
- List ABC news articles related to one or more types of crime
