Discussion
editWill this identifier be different from DSSTox substance ID (P3117)? If so, how? Gtsulab (talk) 17:46, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

- N/M found the difference from DSSTox substance ID (P3117) discussion page. Looks good to me Support - Gtsulab (talk) 20:00, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- Apologies for delayed response. The distinctions between DTXSID and DTXCID are explained in detail in https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2468111319300234 but structures are represented as DTXCIDs while substances are mapped to DTXSIDs. Not all substances have structures but they do have substance IDs https://comptox.epa.gov/dashboard/dsstoxdb/results?search=DTXSID1027683. --2620:117:503F:B2:0:0:0:D01D 18:40, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- Why this is marked as 'ready', but WikiProject Chemistry has not been even notified? Wostr (talk) 20:18, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

- Support This seems like a reasonable identifier to keep track of. Walkerma (talk) 02:32, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- Question which property would be used for verification during import (InChI? InChIKey? CAS?) and how many new items would be created (if any)? Wostr (talk) 16:39, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- One DTXCID corresponds to One DTXSID, so there are zero new items to create.--GZWDer (talk) 06:32, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- In this case, I have no objections. Support Wostr (talk) 23:47, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
