Motivation edit

The Gazetteer for Scotland currently includes encyclopedic entries for about 2700 notable people (in addition to its about 23,000 places), with mini-biographies, and a page of cross-references to places in Scotland particularly associated with them. This would be a useful resource to cross-reference and link out to.
