Discussion edit
- Strong oppose Those identifiers don't have a formatter URL, they are fully made up by the community of the Esperanto Wikipedia and are not really stable and authoritative. Why use those identifiers when Wikidata already provides perfectly stable identifiers (such as "Q18950696") for all ZEOs? Will this ZEO ID still be useful in a year when all ZEOs have their own Wikidata item linked to a Commons category? On top of that, some ZEO identifiers are assigned twice (hu-029, hu-045, hu-048, nl-0013, nl-0019 and nl-020 for example) and some ZEOs don't even have a ZEO identifier (those in Italy for example). That can be avoided if we use the identifiers provided by Wikidata. Robin van der Vliet (talk) (contribs) 17:50, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see how Wiki Loves Monuments ID (P2186) is more authoritative than this one. It's also got no formatter URL, and was "completely made up" (like all other identifiers, anywhere). NMaia (talk) 01:30, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- Wiki Loves Monuments ID (P2186) is also not authorative and in my opinion it shouldn't have been created. The same issue was raised in the property proposal discussion of that property, but it was created anyway, probably because there was no easy alternative. - Comment All photos of the contest Wiki Loves ZEOs are now linked to a Wikidata item. I created a list here. Some lists on the Esperanto Wikipedia now already also link to the Wikidata items, and soon all those lists will. Those identifiers lost all their usefulness and can be deleted, just like the template c:Template:ZEO-kodo. Robin van der Vliet (talk) (contribs) 16:53, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
