Motivation edit
This is limited in scope due to the small number of items for music videos and the (relatively) small number of videos on iTunes, but there are at least two, and ideally items for music videos should be separate from the items for the songs because they're conceptually different entities (songs can have multiple music videos, and multiple songs can be in one music video). Question more examples are required, especially to show the mismatch (songs vs. videos). If the current number of expected uses is less than a few thousands, I'd oppose the proposal. -- JakobVoss (talk) 20:56, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- @JakobVoss: Template:External music video (Q7879143) is used 9,042 times on the English Wikipedia, and there are many more music videos which aren't linked using that template. All of those music videos should have their own items (even though they might not right now), and many of them will be available on iTunes through the efforts of large record companies to make more money. - I've added one for Make You Feel My Love (Q56085848). Adele has nine or ten more. For comparison Ed Sheeran has at least twenty, as do Katy Perry, Panic! at the Disco, Christina Aguilera, Little Mix, Bon Jovi, and Bob Dylan, which extrapolates to at least a few thousand.
