Motivation
editNotified participants of WikiProject Video games
microtransaction.zone (Q115780564) is a database focused on microtransactions (Q18344644) in video games. It came to my attention when PCGamingWiki (Q17013880) announced their microtransaction project, stating how the microtransaction taxonomy informed theirs. The database was seeded from Giant Bomb (Q1657282), and as such the ID is a subset of Giant Bomb ID (P5247) − we could seed this property that way. Jean-Fred (talk) 22:19, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- Support I wonder if we can safely seed this by going 1000 IDs at a time and ensuring that the IDs continue to match (e.g. for all GB IDs from 1-1000, then 1001-2000, etc.), that way we stop whenever we reach the point at which the IDs start to differ (assuming they aren't entirely reliant on GB IDs for all new games in the database, I guess). - Support Very useful site IMHO. Sir Lothar (talk) 11:26, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
