- Comment how is it related to covid 19? shouldn't be the domain a place. Can you add more examples and sources Germartin1 (talk) 13:06, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Germartin1: Usually the patients who are suspected/tested positive are admitted at hospitals at the same location. But due to some reasons (like healthcare system are full, better medical facility) after admission if they are shifted/moved from that place to another the cumulative number of cases (P1603) decreases from day 1 to day 2. ie if 4 persons has been shifted, the count will be like 100 at point in time (P585) 2020-06-02 and 96 at point in time (P585) 2020-06-03. Some states government in India has shifted the patients and it has been mentioned in the official bullentins over here and in official websites here. So if this property is added the confusion why the count is changed in the items can be avoided.-❙❚❚❙❙ JinOy ❚❙❚❙❙ ✉ 17:21, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose I feel like this is somewhat out of scope for wikidata. --Haansn08 (talk) 16:22, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- Since Wikidata is a database with collection the structured data, I think every data that an be reused is equally important. So i believe this data can also be considered as long as the data is sourced.-❙❚❚❙❙ JinOy ❚❙❚❙❙ ✉ 17:17, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose in present form. It's not clear to me what a migration is. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 16:39, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- While setting up the proposal also I felt little confused. I think should I propose two different property, one with label "number of migrations in" and other with "number of migrations out". As the term 'Migration' is the considered as movement from one place to another by creating two different properties can minimize the confusion. Open to any suggestions.-❙❚❚❙❙ JinOy ❚❙❚❙❙ ✉ 17:17, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- So if 1,000,000,000 molecules of O2 move from one place to another, I should put in 1,000,000,000? ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 20:46, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl:, Ya.. It can.. If we can add the point of starting and ending we can also add the movements of molecules too.-❙❚❚❙❙ JinOy ❚❙❚❙❙ ✉ 14:38, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

- Since the numbers might go wrong when the total number is taken, I think it would be better to create two properties: something like 'cases from migration' - which denotes the people who have reached the state/country and 'cases migrated' - which mean the cases which have been migrated to other region. - @Gnoeee, Adithyak1997: do you want to withdraw this and propose a new property with a clearer scope or reformulate it here? In it's current state, I'd close it as "not done". --- Jura 14:25, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think proposing a new property will be better. I think will have to wait for Gnoeee's response too. Adithyak1997 (talk) 14:29, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Jura1:- Since there not positive outcome after the discussion and I am not currently working on the updation of COVID-19 related items due to busy with my studies and work, I am withdrawing this proposal now.-❙❚❚❙❙ JinOy ❚❙❚❙❙ ✉ 10:46, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
