  Notified participants of WikiProject Informatics/FLOSS

  • @Matthias M. Hint: If you want to correctly ping multiple projects, please do it with a newline message and be sure to have a signature (!), because if all project ping templates are in one line (example) and/or without a signature for each one (example), it is certain that none of the projects will receive the ping. Here's how to properly ping projects:
  • {{Ping project|Informatics/FLOSS}} ~~~~
and then with new message (just like I did [1], [2])
  • {{ping project|Video games}} ~~~~

  •   Comment Apparently, old articles get moved to Archiv/. Some get moved back when an editor verifies the article is compatible with a recent Ubuntu version. How to deal with this? The wiki uses Inyoka instead of MediaWiki and doesn't seem to have stable (numeric) IDs. Dexxor (talk) 07:36, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral Thanks for the proposal. I'm neutral, premising I have some concerns about creating dedicated properties to each wiki. Unrelated comment: the meanwhile I suggest to use this useful resource as reference URL of various un-referenced information indeed. --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 08:05, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral As Lubuntu user I would be happy to see it used as a resource, but I agree with Dexxor there could be basic issues + Inyoka does not seem to be maintained even and IMHO it might be too much work to support current web structure when it is likely (hopefully) to change (relatively) soon...no?
