Task/s: remove "/doc"-like suffixes from template-related items
Function details: This is a very known problem: for years, interwiki links have been mixed on both template and documentation pages; see this request or this one.
I've written a script that will take lists of such items and will try to fix links without throwing conflicts.
I've made a test run using User:Yamaha5/incorrect template interwiki as list: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18] [19] [20] [21].
It can fix multiple links at once, and also update labels accordingly (example).
It also isn't tricked by 'false-friends': [22] [23] [24] [25] [26] [27] [28] [29] [30] [31] [32] [33] [34] [35] [36] [37] [38] [39]. --Ricordisamoa 23:55, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Update: a bug prevented the script from acting when the canonical form of the Module namespace (828) was used in MediaWiki:Scribunto-doc-page-name (from which the script takes the internationalized form of "/doc") instead of the translated one; now it is fixed (example). --Ricordisamoa 00:03, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It has now removed all checked/processed items from Yamaha5's list.

- It is very strange every week we should get this query because it has new cases daily! since 6 month ago, 4 times I cleaned cases for fa.wiki but still it shows new cases! Yamaha5 (talk) 06:49, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
