Hi, I'd like to request the right as I am creating several documentation pages on Wikidata (Wikidata Import Hub, Wikidata Data Donation, Wikidata Data Import Guide, Wikidata Open Data Publishing, Wikidata in Wikimedia Projects). I would like to be able to mark them for translation and also confirm any changes made for translation. I have this right on Meta so am experienced in using the tools. --John Cummings (talk) 08:06, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

Hi. The reason why I request for the permission is to allow me to contribute more at Wikidata, as my contributions is more into translation works, where I am quite familiar with it. In addition, I am also an administrator at Malay-language Wikipedia. --26 Ramadan (talk) 14:27, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

- Done, the tenure os on the lower level but still acceptable, no reason not to grant the request--Ymblanter (talk) 20:59, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello there, it has been a while since my first edit here. I have been contributing here regularly since then with a few exceptions. I am a native Hindi user and can write in advanced level of English. I know elementary level Japanese and also able to port other language terms into Japanese after some hassle. I have added translations here in many different types of languages. How I do so can be found on my user page. Therefore, I find myself eligible for Translation Administrator flag. If the reviewer of this page is still doudbtful of my edit count, then he or she can straight away close this request. I will request again after some time lapses. --Harsh Rathod Poke me! 11:01, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

- Comment My usual question: What is the job you cannot do well without the rights now? Matěj Suchánek (talk) 07:58, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- I asked because the documentation says so. I don't want to be hindered whenever translating pages just because of absence of this flag. If you still think I'm unfit then I have no problem. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 05:50, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- I can't see that you ever translated a page on Wikidata. Just for adding labels in languages you well understand, you don't need these rights. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 09:03, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Is it necessary? I am content with only adding translated labels, which I assume they actually help a lot in indexing by bots. Saying straight away that I don't need the flag is a bit demotivating but the best I can do is to prove you wrong once this discussion closes. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 11:51, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

I would like to request translation administrator permission for work on mark pages for translation in pendings. It would be very handy for future documentation work if I'd have translation administrator rights. --Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 21:17, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

- @ZI Jony: could your explain in a bit more detail what you want to do? For me, your documented experience is slightly on the lower side, and I want to make sure that you really need the flag. Thanks.--Ymblanter (talk) 20:51, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to have translations rights and be added to Translation administrators group. I can translate from English / Spanish / German / italian into French. I can also proofread in those languages. I am a prolific translator in "translatewiki.net". WMCA is involved in First Nations languages and I would like to be able to mark pages for translation and also confirm any changes made for translation. Thank you and best regards. Hello,
I would like this right to mark everything I see in english although it is not yet translatable (not marked for a translation), quite simply. I always have texts (and that's normal) of all kinds in English and I would like to translate them immediately, as soon as I see them, for a fluid reading. Currently, I already have 4 translation requests to make, I think it's easier to come here. I am used to translation in my language and I have already translated texts on WD and I know the procedure for marking in translation. In the future, I intend to be more prolific in translation. Thank you in advance. Best regards. --Eihel (talk) 17:46, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
