Hi! Are you able to translate to Norfuk / Pitkern? Can you translate 3 sentences?

- may the Force be with you
Thanks! :) -XQV- (talk) 19:17, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

- Ah'm a Star Wars (or Starn Wars) fan!
- Automatic actualisation (boring, I know)
- Mey the Force be wi ye.

Cast member / voice actor
Hi AmaryllisGardener. I think voice actor (P725) is more appropriate than cast member (P161) for Zootopia (Q15270647). --Jobu0101 (talk) 20:03, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Jobu0101: Some animated film items use cast member (P161), some use cast member (P161). We probably need to find/start a discussion on that. --AmaryllisGardener talk 20:08, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- Why did you change my edit? --Jobu0101 (talk) 20:11, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Jobu0101: I don't know what I did. I didn't mean to, I'm sorry. --AmaryllisGardener talk 20:31, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, no problem. Animated film items should always use voice actor (P725). I think no discussion is needed. The property says: performer of a spoken role in a creative work such as animation, video game, radio drama, or dubbing over [use "character role" (P453) as qualifier] [use "cast member" (P161) for live acting]. --Jobu0101 (talk) 20:41, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Request for help
Hi! How can I help with checking edits in Hebrow? Doror (talk) 18:51, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
- @Doror: Hello. I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean exactly, but if you want to edit Hebrew labels, the easiest way is to add a Babel template to your userpage by adding {{#babel:he|en-4}} to it, assuming Hebrew is your native language and that you know English pretty well. --AmaryllisGardener talk 18:59, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
- How can I find edits like in my contributions (Added [he] description, Changed Hebrew description...)? Doror (talk) 19:03, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
- @Doror: Well, you can see recent edits at Special:RecentChanges, and you can check edit history on the "View history" tab, but I don't know if it can be sorted by language. --AmaryllisGardener talk 04:20, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks, Doror (talk) 05:29, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

Edit warring
Hi, AmaryllisGardener.
Can you please solve problem with this page (www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q18344675)? Givi in English Wikipedia has this description (Commander of the pro-Russian), not that "Ukrainian rebel commander in Donbass", what Kamolan has been undoing. And in Ukrainian he is called "Ґіві", not "Гіві".--Viiictorrr (talk) 18:06, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Viiictorrr: Hello, I will make a section on the talk page for a discussion to take place. I would contact Kamolan directly, but I don't know how well he knows English, if he does at all, and my knowledge of Russian is not good enough for me to engage in a conversation about the matter. --AmaryllisGardener talk 18:12, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- C`mon, almost whole world know English..)--Viiictorrr (talk) 18:16, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
Protect
Hello, can you protect this page for 3 days or 1 week for example? Thanks علاء (talk) 23:02, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- @علاء: I must deny your request, as it looks that there hasn't been sufficient vandalism to meet protection criteria. --AmaryllisGardener talk 23:03, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- ummmm, okay but you can't protect it as precaution? because the last edit affect the template content in Arabic article! علاء (talk) 23:07, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Items aren't usually protected as a precaution. Only after several vandalism problems. --AmaryllisGardener talk 23:13, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for clarification علاء (talk) 23:18, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Improbable spouse
Hi,
Are you sure about
and
?
This seems improbable (two men and not their lives overlap but barely). Could you take a look?
Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 14:12, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- @VIGNERON: My bad, I removed it. What happened was jawiki listed Maeda as being married to a Torii Tadamasa, wikilinked to that Torii Tadamasa, but actually a different Torii. --AmaryllisGardener talk 23:05, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- No problem and thank you. Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 09:11, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
Merging two items
Hi, would you please suggest where I can find info on merging two items on Wikidata? To be exact, I want to merge this one ru:Ридикюль with this one en:Reticule (handbag). Regards, --Dmitri Lytov (talk) 20:40, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Dmitri Lytov: Just go into your gadgets, check the "Merge" box, and then all you have to do is hover over the dropdown arrow menu next to the search bar on the item you want to merge, and then type in the Q id of the other item you want to merge it with. Or I can merge them for you. --AmaryllisGardener talk 21:48, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. I activated the merge tool, but when I hover, I don't see this option. Would you please merge these items for me? --Dmitri Lytov (talk) 15:24, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Done --AmaryllisGardener talk 16:20, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Dmitri Lytov (talk) 16:22, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Um, when I open either page, they do not seem to be linked to each other, although on Wikidata they seem to be merged. Will it take some time to update? --Dmitri Lytov (talk) 16:23, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Dmitri Lytov: Sometimes you have to purge the cache for them to appear linked. I did and it shows it's linked now. And you're welcome! --AmaryllisGardener talk 16:25, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Done --AmaryllisGardener talk 16:20, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
