Request edit

Hello.

Could you create the article en:Architecture of Azerbaijan (Republic of Azerbaijan) in Asturian, just like the article ast:Arquiteutura bizantina which you uploaded?

Thank you.

Thank you very much! Sarvathi (talk) 20:00, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request edit

Hello.

Can you create the article en:Baku Stock Exchange in Asturian, just like the article ast:Bolsa d'Iraq which you uploaded?

Thank you.

Sarvathi (talk) 14:40, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello.

Can you also create the articles es:Fuerza Aérea de Azerbaiyán, es:Torre de televisión de Bakú and es:Academia Nacional de Ciencias de Azerbaiyán in Asturian Wikipedia?

None of these articles need to be long. This is my last request for this year.

Kindest regards, Sarvathi (talk) 10:10, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, because I live in Turkey where Wikipedia is banned and blocked, I can only communicate through Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons which are not banned and blocked yet. If you are not interested in creating them, can you sent this request to Asturian Wikipedia? Sarvathi (talk) 13:54, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Now You’re Gone edit

Hello. Do not add "Now You're Gone (cantar de Basshunter)" in "other names" field. I cancelled it already in some articles but there is many more. Eurohunter (talk) 10:07, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Eurohunter:, what's wrong with those aliases? they allow to disambiguate the song among other entities with the same name. YoaR (talk) 08:28, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
It's unnecessary and doesn't makes sense. You just need to add name (without disambugation), description and other names (again name without disambugation especially there is no article and it's unknown if there will be disambugation). Eurohunter (talk) 13:31, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't agree, but it's up to you. Have fun undoing all those changes. Huge task ahead! YoaR (talk) 15:08, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
No it's not fun to reverting useless edits. These edits just shouldn't happen. Still I aprove your previous edits adding correct label and description in Asturian. Just add standard label name and description separetly. Eurohunter (talk) 10:25, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

User:BandiBot edit

Good afternoon. I was wondering if you are the owner of the account User:BandiBot. If you are the owner, I would like you to know that I have started a discussion at Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard#User:BandiBot. My reasoning is that the bot is not registered according to Wikidata:Bots, does not state its owner and is not using the bot flag on edits. --William Graham (talk) 19:43, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've blocked the bot after 136,912 test edits, please get your bot approved before you continue. It's also very weird to see you running the exact same tasks on your personal account, I've stopped these batches also due to query service lag. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 14:26, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Due to the "stop batch" function not working, I had to block your account for the things above. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 14:35, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment edit

Dear Vsuarezp,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.

If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSees9WzFXR0Vl3mHLkZCaByeFHRrBy51kBca53euq9nt3XWog/viewform?usp=sf_link I will contact you with the link to start the study.

For more information about the study, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.

Thank you for considering taking part in this research.

Regards
