Motivation edit
Same as the proposal for AniList anime IDs, manga/light novel IDs would be useful for cataloguing manga and light novels. There's no distinction in the URL between manga and light novel items, but it is distinct on the frontend of the website.
We could just call this AniList manga IDs while also using it for light novels if that's preferred. I'll let people voice their opinions on that below.

Comment The biggest problem here will probably be the fact that so many items have been created that cover anime, manga, and light novels as one single item, when they should be separate (I opened a discussion on that in the anime and manga WikiProject btw). - Comment For whomever creates the property (assuming it's approved), I'm leaning more toward "AniList manga ID" now, per Thibaut's comment about consistency, FWIW. It'd still cover light novels, but it doesn't really need to mention them in its name. Nicereddy (talk) 02:20, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
