Discussion edit

  •   Oppose Seems to be not an ID, just a search string. If if were an ID, persons of the same name would have different, unique IDs to differentiate between them. But searching for "John Smith" for example gives me a lot of results that are clearly from all kinds of different people with this name. Even the results page for the "ID" of Matt Damon in the proposal includes stuff like this ("Matt Tramel, Sam Damon"), which clearly shows it's merely a search string, not an ID specificly for the person Matt Damon (Q175535). In addition, this is simply an online-shop and the proposed "ID" just leads to a search result page with products you can buy there. There's no information about the persons/topics and it's not curated in any way, so I don't really see its usefulness. --Kam Solusar (talk) 12:15, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
