Discussion edit

  •   Oppose - I am really not comfortable with us adding identifiers for every online music shop out there. These are purely commercial links and don't seem to add much value or information. Andrew Gray (talk) 23:13, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Andrew Gray: You are the next person not familiar with thing you are voting oppose. It's obviously important site which include charts positions in Japan. You have no arguments and mass oppose voting could be considered as mass violation. Eurohunter (talk) 19:38, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • I had a look at the linked page for Basshunter. While I do not speak Japanese, Google Translate is very helpful here has one entry for a 2008 album, with a link to listen and a link to buy it; it does not say anything about chart positions. There is a link for "chart" which is greyed out. On the page for the album, the only information is a release date, the publisher, and the sales price - again, no chart information. Most of the links from the landing page are clearly advertising and I am not seeing why Wikidata would get any value from this link.
      • Regarding your last comment, if it is acceptable to support the creation of dozens of properties, then it must also be acceptable to object as well. But it is not appropriate to threaten people who disagree with you. Andrew Gray (talk) 19:48, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
