Motivation

Database of video games published on Oric (Q17042679) computers. Some usage mainly on fr.wp. There appears to be 2428 identifier but very likely these are not all games − MobyGames lists only 102 (but since this is a French platform, it may just not have lots or presense on anglophone databases). Will make a Mix’n’match catalogue for it. Jean-Fred (talk) 16:08, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

Yes, do that! It will be helpful to understand what this website is actually about. My concerns were about the reliability of the website itself. It is so incomplete. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 08:24, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your answer! I’m not sure how much I can expand though − as stated, it’s a volunteer-driven curated database of computer programs published on Oric (Q17042679) computers. I am not sure what you mean by incomplete − it is very likely the most extensive database on that niche topic. My objective is to identify gaps in coverage on computer games (and software) across history − and I think one of our best shots at doing that is to cross-link with such highly-specialized databases. I'm still unsure, please don't count my vote. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 14:55, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Support, @Harshrathod50: I don't understand your concerns: the description obviously indicate that this database is about Oric computer programs, this is the official website so I dont see any problem with reliability and it seems pretty complete to me. Complete in what sence? Harsh Rathod Poke me! 14:55, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Harshrathod50: this database has an identifier for 2428 Oric programs (probably a bit less since not all identifier between 1 and 2428 exists) this is a very big number, don't you think? Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 16:30, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see that the community is in favor for this property so it wouldn't be wise for me to go against it. Therefore I'm changing my vote. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 07:08, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
