Brink (Q69914375): video game series: (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs)

Not a video game series, only a single game Trade (talk) 15:00, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

@Trade: there is an identifier indicating that this is a series, and it is used in a couple of items. Can you please explain your position? My current position is to keep the item, but you can still convince me of the opposite. —MisterSynergy (talk) 10:16, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
There is only one Brink video game, Agents of Change is just a DLC while Brink: Complete Pack is a bundle that contains Brink along with it's DLC. MobydGames does not have any way dedicated to model the relationship between DLC and games, hence why they are using the same Game Group as actual video game series with multiple games. --Trade (talk) 10:22, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
hence   Delete. Nomen ad hoc (talk) 16:15, 28 November 2020 (UTC).

Anyone, please? Nomen ad hoc (talk) 09:05, 30 November 2020 (UTC).

Oops, didn't think of the structural need... Solve it first.   Not done therefore. Nomen ad hoc (talk) 05:58, 19 December 2020 (UTC).

Can Sarvan (Q6070707): Turkish journalist, writer and film director: (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs)

Notability. [evolutionoftheuniverse] @wikidata 15:35, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

  • TR:WP has removed her article, good for her. Why would anybody like to have an article at a WP that deletes her article as not notable but uses her as a source! --E4024 (talk) 21:20, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
  • I added a few things to her item. Can Sarvan is notable enough with or without a Commons category. BTW, lately Commons categories of several people are being tried to eliminate to use that as a reason of deletion here. Get her cat deleted if you wish. As soon as the pandemia is over I myself will go to Northern Cyprus and take her pics and upload to Commons. E4024 (talk) 21:35, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
  • To stop some people's unnecessary deletion requests, I open articles -sometimes hastily- (always in languages other than TR). Later they use the sources I have found and used and make an article for the same person (that in cases they have previously deleted, or they have got their images deleted. Maybe we should delete some WPs better. :) Look, she is in my to-do list since long time. I will make her article when I decide to do so. Why do you open a deletion request for a notable person? Many people are not notable for the TR:WP, that we know. However that has nothing to do with WD. Better learn searching sources and add them to the articles (in your WP) in the time you spend for deletion discusses here, there and in Commons. The sources are there. Just waiting to be used. An advice from an older person. E4024 (talk) 02:20, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
  • I think there is another Quakewoody at Commons who opened this discussion as the one in Wikidata said a few lines above that "the commons category is an issue that prevents deletion here. But, while I won't nominate it myself, if anyone wants to nominate the files and category on commons, I will support deletion." --E4024 (talk) 14:57, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
