WikiProject Books
We can translate the WikiProject Books but we can't change the language on the normal project page. Can somebody fix this?

Hi - not sure if this is the right place to ask this. With the new property proposal process (proposals on their own pages) the "Unsorted" category doesn't make sense, and is now empty. I've removed it from Wikidata:Property proposal/navbar/text but that doesn't seem to have had any effect where that text is included - is this a translation issue? Things are going to be further in flux with property proposals going forward - some of the old groupings may be changed significantly, but I thought this would be a first good step. - After the page is marked for translation, the change is propagated to its subpages which are transluded in other pages. I have just done this, so all relevant pages should now be updated. However, there are still some pages linking to the obsolete subpage. I can go through that list and reduce the backlinks if you wish. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 14:09, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- The historical links have been broken for a long time (the new structure will fix that problem by linking directly to individual property proposal pages) so I don't think they need fixing. However there probably is still some cleanup needed. Ping me if you see something that needs looking at. Meanwhile somebody has added a couple of proposals to it again so it's no longer empty - I'll bring this up elsewhere... ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:27, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Wikidata:WikiProject Cycling
Hi everyone,
It's possible to marked to translation the page Wikidata:WikiProject Cycling? The yellow version that we see here is an old version. You can delete all in the translation tool.
As you can see, the original version is in French. When the tool will be update with the new version of the page, I will copy the original text (French, but the tool thinks that it's English) to the French version. After that, I will modify the code of the page to translate the "fake" English in "real" English.
We discussed of this in the French chat.

- @Matěj Suchánek: The page is written in French, but I was told that the translate tool can't define an other source language that English. So, when the traduction tool will activate a new time, I want to translate the French of the original page (the "fake English") in English ("real English"). You understand?

About the impossibility to use the translator tool from another language than English, is there any plan to implement it? I mean, does this problem track on Phabricator or should I open a ticket? Pamputt (talk) 21:14, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
