Discussion edit

Seems this property is quite used to describe books on Wikidata. We would like those identifiers to link to inventaire.io (Q32193244)'s book data. Is there any format as a regular expression (P1793) we could rely on to contrain possible import on inventaire ? Thanks Jumtist (talk) 15:45, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Jumtist Matýbe something like [a-z]*|[0-9]*|\/|- see regex101.com/r/Ms6Bky/1

Slash edit

Who on earth got the idea to include the forward slash (/) in the allowed pattern? This leads to abuse where each volume or division of a work is treated as a "book ID", which it should not be, for example "smok/3" in item Q97643482. Only the top-level (smok) is an ID.
