Q2813717Edit

Why did you delete this statement? --Matlin (talk) 06:19, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Because Малі Біскупичі this is Ukrainian village, not russian. --Бучач-Львів (talk) 07:45, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Please merge instead of blankingEdit

  Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them as you did with the page Q74393451. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. See Help:Merge for more information on how to do this, and consider installing the Merge Gadget. Thanks! Bovlb (talk) 21:48, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

@Bovlb: Hi! Thanks for the words of support and a hint. Sorry for the errors (and Google translate), in the future I try to minimize their number. Thanks! --Бучач-Львів (talk) 07:14, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
Hi. I fixed up Mykhailo Borysykevych (Q55843493) for you, where you again blanked instead of merging. Cheers, Bovlb (talk) 16:49, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi! I also fixed up Volodymyr Maievskyi (Q58371632) for you, where it happened again. Cheers, Bovlb (talk) 22:05, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

Ukrainian objects in Austrian and Austro-Hungarian empiresEdit

I am planning to add P17=Austrian Empire (Q131964) for all geographical objects in modern Ukraine (Lviv, Ternopol, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernovtsy, Uzhgorod regions) which are created before 1867:

SELECT distinct ?item ?itemLabel ?coor ?date WHERE {
  ?item wdt:P131* wd:Q164193.
  ?item wdt:P625 ?coor.
  ?item wdt:P571 ?date.
  FILTER (?date < "1867-12-31"^^xsd:dateTime)
  MINUS {?item p:P17 [ps:P17 wd:Q131964 ].}
  SERVICE wikibase:label { bd:serviceParam wikibase:language "[AUTO_LANGUAGE],en". }
  }

Try it!

Please correct me if I am wrong. The next will be the same for Austria-Hungary (Q28513) and creation<1918. --Infovarius (talk) 12:51, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Infovarius Not all of the modern Ternopil region was part of the Austrian Empire and Austria-Hungary. In outline (in general), it is necessary to exclude the old Shumsk, Lanivtsi and Kremenets districts, but I don't know all the details. --Бучач-Львів (talk) 13:30, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Infovarius. Shumsk, Lanivtsi and Kremenets raions. --Бучач-Львів (talk) 13:32, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. Austrian is ready. --Infovarius (talk) 20:52, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
And Austria-Hungaria is soon to be done. --Infovarius (talk) 21:32, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
