Ich kann keine Interwikis mehr hinzufügen

Seit einiger Zeit erscheint bei mir beim Hinzufügen von Interwikis das Feld für den Artikel nicht mehr. Beispiel von heute: Q424138, wo ich pl:Pileus hinzufügen wollte (hat eigenen Datensatz Q11817053). Früher wurde das Feld nach Eingabe des Artikels rosa und zeigte mir an, dass ich erst den Artikel aus Q1181705 löschen musste. -- Olaf Studt (talk) 20:44, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Merging items

Hallo Crazy1880,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the empytied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

The primary sources tool status page says that you are the second most active user of the tool, congratulations! If you have not tried it yet, I would like to invite you to activate and play with the FBK-strephit-soccer dataset: it is a small demo dataset to support the StrepHit IEG proposal. I would really appreciate if you could endorse, join (blue buttons), or comment the idea on the proposal page.

Hey Hjfocs, I've got a phenomenon. In the "Primary Sources statement list" happened to me no update or refresh. If I click approve or reject, comes the loading bar, but nothing happens. In the object it is assumed. Have you got an idea? Regards --Crazy1880 (talk) 09:27, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi @Crazy1880, thanks for reporting this, I managed to reproduce the issue. Not only nothing happens, but it also seems that the data in the list is not in sync with the primary sources backend. @Tpt has led the tool development so far, maybe he has more insights.

Moin Moin. Ich glaube, du hast das eigentliche Problem nicht richtig verstanden. Um das zu überprüfen, habe ich es nicht schnell selbst korrigiert, sondern nicht korrigieren lassen. Du hast nun bei dem Claim, welches du vor ein paar Tagen setztest, den Quantifier point in time (P585) angepasst. Den Fehler habe ich erst später bemerkt und dir hier auch separat mitgeteilt. Der eigentlich Fehler war jedoch, das Claim erneut angelegt zu haben. Es gab ja schon ein Claim zu dem Award mit der Property award received (P166). Das heißt, so wie es gerade drin steht, heißt es, dass der Film zweimal den Award Academy Award for Best Animated Feature (Q106800) gewonnen hat, was aber nicht der Wahrheit entspricht. --Jobu0101 (talk) 07:17, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

Genau das meine ich. Bzw. dass man auch demnächst beim Erstellen darauf achtet, ob es schon ein entsprechendes Claim gibt und dann die Information, die man gerade eintragern wollte (in deinem Fall Andrew Stanton) genau dort einträgt. So, wie es derzeit vermerkt ist, bedeutet das nämlich, der Film habe zweimal den "Oskar für den besten animierten Spielfilm" gewonnen. Vielen Dank, sieht gut aus. Ich habe gerade noch statement is subject of (P805) zu den Nominierungen hinzugefügt. Grundsätzliche Info zu den Oscars: Die potentiellen Gewinner bei Nominierungen sollten, wie ich finde, auch eingetragen werden. Hier wird gerade etwas diskutiert, wie das passieren soll. Man ist sich noch nicht so ganz einig, bzw. scheint es keine ideale Property dafür zu geben, vielleicht muss sie noch erstellt werden. Winner passt ja nicht bei einer Nominierung. Encyclopaedia Metallum

Greetings! When mixing and matching the Encyclopaedia Metallum band ID (P1952)’s, please don’t add multiple identifiers to the same item unless the band actually has multiple Encyclopaedia Metallum pages. Matching must be done by comparing for example album and band member names between the Wikipedia articles and the EM page, not just by band name. There’s now a bunch of violations at Wikidata:Database reports/Constraint violations/P1952. Actually, not all of the listed items are even bands, for example matricide (Q1136456) and a Norse deity (Q1136300) are now linked (twice) with the property. It inserts / adds data from Freebase, and yes, hundreds of links to MusicBrainz. At the first time there were no checks for MusicBrainz. Moin Moin (can I use that phrase too?), it seems that the category items you recently created have an incorrect P31 ('Category:1972 in Zaire' instead of 'Wikimedia category'). Categories and languages

When you start a new page, that is a category, you can just go to "automatic addition". Then, under "parameters" you go to "lists" and choose "Wikipmedia category". Then you go to "update" above and click at "labels" and "descriptions". Then you have labels and descriptions in all languages. J 1982 (talk) 14:47, 17 February 2020 (UTC)

Turkish names

Hi. I saw your edits to Q78360937. His given name is Erşan, and not Ersan. This is not a "script" issue. In Turkish we have many names (both given and/or family n.) with similar spelling, but they are different from each other. Let me give a few examples: Erşan and Ersan, Tuncer and Tunçer, Ergun and Ergün, Sina and Sina, Ümran and Umran, Şenay and Senay, Gülşen and Gülsen and many more. In Turkey we are very accustomed to this. Letters like ü, ö, ç, ş, ı, ğ are part of our alphabet, they are not "special" letters, but ordinary letters. They do not use "diacritic signs". They are this way. The only diacritic sign we used to have almost got lost in time with the use of internet, which is the case of "Celâl" and "Kâzım" etc. Today you may write Celal instead of Celâl but you cannot write Ersan instead of "Erşan". because they are two different names. Aktualisierung von Einwohnerdaten

Hallo Crazy1880, du hattest die Einbindung von Einwohnerdaten auf der Seite de:Böhmisches Niederland korrigiert, danke. Ich sehe dabei noch ein "Tabellen"-Problem und möchte dich dazu was fragen. Die Tabelle für de:Böhmisches Niederland#Politische Gliederung trägt nur einmal in der Kopfzeile das "aktuelle" Datum, da mir die Angabe in jeder Tabellenzeile als zu viel erschien. Kannst du mir sagen, ob Einwohnerzahlen (in diesem Fall von Orten in Tschechien) "gleichzeitig" auf nen neuen Jahresstand gesetzt werden, sodass dieses handling vertretbar ist?
