Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Merging items
editHallo Lee,
If you were not already using it, you may want to check out the merge.js gadget for merging items. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically nominate the page you are merging from for deletion. This way of nominating also makes it easier for the admins to process such requests. For support and other options you can check the help page about merging.

about merge
editHi, Lee. Thanks for your contributions. When you remove links from an item and add them to anther item, if the removal leaves one item without any link (e.g. your edit on Q19738557 and edit on Q8242), then please consider directly merging the items, not deleting and adding the same link. Merging potentially identical pages on siwiki
editHi Lee! In performing some maintenance around here I found some siwiki pages that might be duplicates of each other. Since I don't speak Sinhala, it would be great if you could merge each pair of pages (or, if you don't merge a certain pair, explain why they shouldn't be merged). - Hello Mahir256. Thank you for spotting this. These are obvious duplicates, and hence I went ahead and redirected
ජුනි→ජූනි. The corresponding Wikidata items should ideally be deleted, or alternatively, merged into the currently used Wikidata items. Let me know if you need any help. I am currently travelling, hence my response may be slow. Cheers, Rehman 11:41, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

Hallo Lee, I see that you speak Sinhala. Can you help me with trading business (Handelsgewerbe) (Q19698893) and trading business (Handelsgewerbe) (Q19735784)? Both have a sitelink for Sinhala Wikipedia but the former redirects to the latter. So they should probably be merged. Is the article about business (Q4830453)? You may be interested in this section because, as far as I know, the si.wiktionary (which you're an administrator of that) mainpage wikt:si:මුල් පිටුව is located at Main namespace, to which our policy said that Main namespace pages of Wiktionaries are not allowed for normal linking. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 11:46, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
