I believe you are using topic's main category (P910) incorrectly with Widar, resulting in a very large mess. Please stop using P910 and discuss. Please read the constraints at Property talk:P910, especially that it is the 'Inverse property of category's main topic (P301)'. If it was incorrect use, we can have a bot remove them all quite easily. We definitely need advice from others to understand the correct usage of P910, and then better document it, and possibly improve the tools so that if it is used incorrectly the user is alerted to the potential misuse of it. Hola, Petronas. He visto la edición en el Q287076 de ABC con la propiedad "País" (P17). Creo que la adecuada para estos casos es la de "País de origen" (P495), que es específica para "obras creativas".Totemkin (talk) 07:27, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Te puedo hablar por los dos que te señalé. El resto son objetos extraños no identificados (que o bien no los uso, o bien no lo sé usar muy bien o, sencillamente, no tengo muy claro para qué sirven).

Para usar el de authority control tienes que estar en el "Q" de... un ser humano. Creo que deberías tener rellena la etiqueta del Q en tu idioma por defecto (el nombre, vaya), para que funcione. Si todo está bien, te debería salir un enlace en herramientas que diga "Authority control". Haces click en él y se te abre una pantalla. Pueden salir varias "entradas" por ese nombre, pero selecciona sólo la que corresponda, los códigos se agregan pulsando el "+", se puede hacer uno por uno o toda "una caja" del tirón. Usa siempre... la segunda opción (el "+" de arriba a la izquierda), pues con un click te agrega todos (el tiempo que está trabajando el script, se pone negra la ventanita, se espera y punto, unos segundos).

Para que funcione el suggestor, lo mismo, tenerlo activado y en herramientas aparece "suggestor". Creo que funciona vía wikicategorías, así que si no tiene apenas ninguna (o no tiene ninguna) en el artículo de Wikipedia) es posible que no ofrezca resultados. Una vez aparecen (se espera un poco) haces click en el "+" de los que vaya tocando. Strakhov (talk) 23:29, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Tinajas

Saludos compañero. Vine a este mundo para mí tan ingrato y misterioso, con la esperanza de entender el caos lingüístico que rodea a la tinaja española, en muchos aspectos (forma, aspecto, uso, tradición) tan similar a la tenalla levantina, la giara italiana, o a modelos arqueológicos como el dolium romano ol pithos de origen minoico, en el mundo clásico griego. (Tienes un panorámica más rica en el artículo de Tinaja en la wiki en español), tanto visual como documentalmente. Esta mañana he intentado añadir en esa página el enlace francés para 'jarre' (lo más aproximado), pero como me suele ocurrir en este mundo, siempre me dicen que está ocupado y cuando voy a mirar la asociación siempre alucino con lo que veo/leo. También puedes encontrar orientación lingüistico historico-morfológica en la category:Tinajas de Commons... Todo ello siempre y cuando saques tiempo para dedicárselo al tema y si te parece claro. Aquí de nuevo, a ver si tu sabes cómo resolver esto, que seguramente ya habías visto y no tiene solución: existe en wikidata: jar (earthenware) (Q3763788) que, bueno, a priori puede aceptarse como más 'ajustada' a tinaja que clay pot (Q766983). Pero el problema, que yo soy incapaz de resolver, es que las páginas a que hacen referencia ambos 'Q' son el mismo objeto (pongamos jar (earthenware): que NO tiene página en inglés, como tampoco la tiene clay pot), en español tinaja, en italiano giara, en alemán tinaja (estos -como los estonios/eesti-, como estuvieron en España haciendo trabajo de campo con la Seseña, aceptaron el término vernáculo, muy listos/planos), en catalán tenalla, etc. Perdóname si me pongo pesado o te parezco obsesionado. Pues me imagino que la inventarán si fuera necesaria —y quizás incluso aunque no lo fuera—, aunque intuyo que concretar a cierto nivel intentando ser exhaustivos puede dar (puntual o no tan puntualmente) problemas de consistencia (cosa que aquí no debe importar mucho, sí importa allá dónde se importen los datos). Gracias a ti por descubrirme la propiedad. Aunque no me termina de convencer el invento, si tuviera que elegir entre una de las dos creo que lo lógico sería tener propiedad para la Biblioteca Virtual de Prensa Histórica (id = "8069"), que no existe (¿por ahora?), en lugar de para europeana (id = "2022702/oai_prensahistorica_mcu_es_8069"). No sé cómo se terminará gestionando en Wikidata esta posible redundancia de información entre "bases de datos" y "superbases de datos" y/o "repositorios digitales" y "superrepositorios digitales". Invitation to Wikidata user study

Dear Petronas,
I am a researcher of the Web and Internet Science group of the University of Southampton.
Together with a group of other researchers from the same University, we are currently conducting a research aiming to discover how newcomers become full participants into the Wikidata community. We are interested in understanding how the usage of tools, the relationships with the community, and the knowledge and application of policy norms change from users' first approach to Wikidata to their full integration as fully active participants.
This study will take place as an interview, either by videotelephony, e.g. Skype, phone, or e-mail, according to the preference of the interviewees. The time required to answer all the questions will likely be about an hour. Further information can be found on the Research Project Page Becoming Wikidatians: evolution of participation in a collaborative structured knowledge base.
Any data collected will be treated in the strictest confidentiality, no personal information will be processed for the purpose of the research. The study, which has submission number 20117, has received ethical approval following the University of Southampton guidelines.
We aim at gathering about 20 participants, chosen among experienced Wikidata users who authored a large number of contributions.
