Motivation edit

I am working on migrating PubAg, the database of USDA sponsored research, to Wikidata. Some entries may not have DOIs or PubMed IDs, so incorporating PubAg IDs can help importing publications which may not be discovered otherwise, and can link back to metadata such as main topics and key words.   - It appears that PubAg IDs currently have between 2 and 7 digits. The lowest value is 23, while the highest is between 6700000 and 6800000. I changed the regex to ~~\d{2,7}~~ [1-9]\d{1,6} to reflect this. John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 07:13, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
