Motivation edit

This identifier is for the UK Parliament linked-data system. It would be exceptionally useful to be able to crossreference our politician data with their linked data on things like terms, party affiliations, and so on. In addition, this gives us a good reference point for things like parliamentary select committees and positions, which we don't currently have great authoritative sources for.

These IDs are also being used by the beta Parliament website (example), so may potentially be useful as WP external links. Andrew Gray (talk) 21:38, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
