Fixing wrong string translations

Hi, sorry if this is not the right place to ask. I have just found that some translations of the Catalan version of this page are in Occitan instead of Catalan. I was going to fix them but I could not found the strings in this list. I checked also in MediaWiki and translatewiki.net but whitout success. Where can I find them? Thanks in advance! Quico (talk) 15:07, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

@Qllach: They should be on translatewiki.net. You can open https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:Preferences?uselang=qqx#mw-prefsection-watchlist to find the identifier of the message, and if, for example, the title of the page is wrong (shown as (preferences)), you can change it at translatewiki:MediaWiki:preferences/ca. (Don’t worry if you get a “no such page” error on Translatewiki. This happens if the message has no Catalan translation at all, which is highly likely in your case, as Occitan is the fallback language of Catalan. If you try to create page and see the English original above the edit box, you’re at the right place, just translate and save it.) —Tacsipacsi (talk) 15:22, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Translation not showing

I've updated the Swedish translations in Wikidata:Community_portal/sv and Template:Discussion_navigation/text/sv, but the changes aren't showing. Can anybody help explain my mistake? Are we waiting for "review" or admin marking the page for update?

I tried null-edit (but can only do that on the English language page) with no result. The Workflows says "Reviewing of translation does not have any effect" but also that states can ensure "good quality before using them". Is there any documentation on how this works on WD? @Jagulin: You haven’t done any mistake, this is the way it should work. Apparently it doesn’t (and not only on Wikidata), see phab:T235027. A null edit to any translation unit seems to be a reliable workaround (add and remove a character on the translation interface to be able to press the save button, or choose “Open in wiki editor” from the drop-down menu to get the traditional edit interface). —Tacsipacsi (talk) 11:15, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
Hello @Jagulin:,
Could you tell me if you have a message following your translations? Because there are also other tickets. I re-marked the 2 pages for translation. Come back if you still have a problem. —Eihel (talk) 12:43, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
@Eihel: I'm not sure what "a message following your translations", but I didn't get any message apart from the ping. Anyhow your "mark for translation" seems to have made FuzzyBot update as I wanted. Thanks! My changes did not list in the history, possibly because I only changed existing translations.
@Tacsipacsi: As mentioned, I did null-edit on the "English original" with no change. Was that what should have worked? I see no way to do null-edit from the translated page, since the only editing I can do is through translator interface. Maybe possible to construct a "Purge URL"? Or some other problem. Jagulin (talk) 11:38, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
@Jagulin: You can (and should) do the null edit on the translation unit, i.e. the page you directly edit. This can be reached by either selecting the “Open in wiki editor” option from the drop-down menu that can be opened by clicking on the unit name (upper left corner of the translation window), or simply checking your contributions (translation units are in the Translations: namespace). —Tacsipacsi (talk) 19:14, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
@Tacsipacsi: Thanks a lot, the contributions page was clear and showed me my mistake: I was looking for a way to edit the "translated page" even though you clearly said "translation unit". Your initial response now became clear too, and the null-edit could be done directly from the translation interface. This was just not a way to null-edit I tried before and I didn't understand what I was looking for. The linked issue also showed that it was a temporary problem rather than the misunderstanding I tried to find. My bad! Thanks for being patient with me. :)  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jagulin (talk • contribs) at 07:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC).

Mark Help:P2094 for translation

Translation admins, I ask to mark Help:P2094 for translation. I drafted that page by myself almost 2 weeks ago and asked for input on Property talk:P2094, but there was none so I think translations can be made. Thanks, —MisterSynergy (talk) 09:55, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
