Qualifiers edit

Does it make sense to add qualifiers, for instance to specify whether the publication page has a "download full text" button, or should such transient data be published separately in a custom dataset? It would be useful to track and query the evolution over time but maybe that's too much. --Nemo 05:55, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Good question, I was also wondering how to model this information. For ResearchGate I think this status is quite volatile. − Pintoch (talk) 08:50, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
The same information can be stored using full work available at URL (P953) and the qualifier content deliverer (P3274)ResearchGate (Q754454). Perhaps, availability could be tracked with start time (P580) and end time (P582) qualifiers? Simon Cobb (Sic19 ; talk page) 10:46, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Other kinds of publications edit

Some of the publications on ResearchGate aren't really peer-reviewed scientific articles, e.g., The Return of Authoritarian Great Powers (Q92184038). Can the constraint be relaxed a bit, maybe to literary work (Q7725634)? Ghouston (talk) 00:48, 29 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Where instance of preprint is preferred edit

This creates a constraint violation because it appears to NOT be a scholarly article. See my question at talk page for preprint (Q580922). Thanks, Trilotat (talk) 01:50, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
