Congratulations, Dear Administrator! edit

English | español | français | Nederlands | русский | +/−

An offering for our new administrator from your comrades... (our gift is better than the one at Commons or Meta)

You have your gun; now here's your badge: {{User admin}}/{{#babel:admin}} and {{Admin topicon}}. Enjoy!

555, congratulations! You now have the rights of administrator on Wikidata. Please take a moment to read the Wikidata:Administrators page and watchlist related pages (in particular Wikidata:Project chat, Wikidata:Requests for comment, and Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard), before launching yourself into page deletions, page protections, account blockings, or modifications of protected pages.

Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikidata-admin @ irc.freenode.net. If you need access, you can flag someone down at @ irc.freenode.net. You may find Wikidata:Guide to Adminship to be useful reading. You may also want to consider adding yourself to meta:Template:Wikidata/Ambassadors, and to any similar page on your home wiki if one exists. (Check Wikipedia:Wikidata/Wikidatans (Q14964498).)

Please also add/update the languages you speak to your listing at Wikidata:List of administrators. You may also like to add your username to this list if you would not like that items you delete at RfD get marked as deleted automatically. Again, welcome to the admin corps!

VIAF is outdated edit

Hi 555, you wrote "please remove GND identifiers only if/when records gets merged on institutional side."[1] Many authority files that have been merged years ago are still shown in VIAF. Please use the original source. Example: GND 172418437 (redirect) => GND 118802291. Cheers --Kolja21 (talk) 10:02, 8 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jacob de Gheyn III edit

Hello, could you tell me why you merged Jacob de Gheyn III (Q576295) into the higher number? I thought merges were supposed to always go to the lower number. In this case, the item seems to have been split, but when splitting, you don't need to create two new items. I am asking because I am curious. I don't need it to be reverted, I just need to know the merge policy hasn't changed. Jane023 (talk) 13:33, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Admin inactivity edit

Hi! Unfortunately, since you have not made 5 administrator actions over the last six months, your administrator privileges were removed for inactivity. Thank you for your contributions to Wikidata! --Rschen7754 00:17, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Top 10 primary sources tool users edit

Hi @555,

The primary sources tool status page says that you are one of the top 10 most active user of the tool, congratulations! If you have not tried it yet, I would like to invite you to activate and play with the FBK-strephit-soccer dataset: it is a small demo dataset to support the StrepHit IEG proposal.

I would really appreciate if you could endorse (blue button) or comment the idea on the proposal page. Due to your involvement in the primary sources tool, your voice is really precious, so please leave a trace in the proposal if you like the general idea (even if the soccer domain does not ring a bell to you).

Looking forward to your feedback.
Cheers,

Elements with instance of title edit

Hi, I see that you created some elements which are instance of title (Q783521) of the author João do Rio that at least with the context and the use of search engines I think that they should be instance of book (Q571) instead of title (Q783521) but as the information I found is mostly in Portuguese I can't understand as well as to be sure to make the correction. Can you double check them? The easiest way is using Special:WhatLinksHere/Q783521. Thank you. --Agabi10 (talk) 15:28, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Carta de Lei edit

Lugusto, olha o que eu achei. Você sabe mais sobre esse documento? Queria saber o nome oficial, se tem página na wp ou no Wikisource. Abraço. Pikolas (talk) 09:51, 15 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

identifiers edit

Hi Lugusto, I notice you moved a number of identifiers to "Good to convert" in User:Addshore/Identifiers/1 with comments along the lines of "single value there is pointless: research database. They do care for a single ID, but most of times some gets duplicated, exactly as Q entries on Wikidata." I'm not sure I understand your meaning; could you describe what you are arguing here in a little more detail in the main discussion page at User:Addshore/Identifiers? Is this something you feel should apply to every external identifier, or just the particular ones you moved? I'm not saying you were wrong to move them, but I'd like to understand a little better what you are implying. Thanks ArthurPSmith (talk) 21:42, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Unused property edit

This is a kind reminder that the following property was created more than six months ago: At the Circulating Library ID (P1564). As of today, this property is used on less than five items. As the proposer of this property you probably want to change the unfortunate situation by adding a few statements to items. --Pasleim (talk) 19:06, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Authority control edit

Hi! I've just noticed that here you have inserted BAV using old Vatican Library ID (former scheme) (P1017) instead of Vatican Library VcBA ID (P8034); it may be due to the use of User:Magnus Manske/authority control.js (the problem has already been reported, but it is still there). I suggest you to use User:Bargioni/moreIdentifiers in order to easily and quickly copy authority control IDs from VIAF ID (P214), managing correctly BAV. To enable it you can add to your common.js:

importScript( 'User:Bargioni/moreIdentifiers defaultconf.js' );
importScript( 'User:Bargioni/moreIdentifiers.js' );

Ask me if you have any doubt. Bye, --Epìdosis 11:57, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
