Import interwikis

Can your bot import interwikis of all subcategories of this category en:Category:Operas by year? --Vivaelcelta (talk) 09:22, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

1. My bot has no bot flag on English Wikipedia yet. I wonder if this task really needs the flag.
2. The bot is not designed for importing other namespaces at first, but I can extend it.
3. The bot has never created a new entity on WD, but I will study how to do it properly.
4. These will take some time and, surely, the number of edits will increase further.

Bot flag

A new bot list

Hi there! Per a request I have been working on a new informative bot list (that has secretly been hidden under the current list at Wikidata:List_of_bots. I think I am finished and it would be great if every botop (including you) could add your bot to the new list. I have added Addbot already and tried to make the template simple! Those are not really error. Because some local wp's which the bot participates in were mapped to the groups so they might be incorrect at first.

• About Lus, I found that no & nn was mixing up three entities!
• Worse case, Ludvik Q2944101, Ludvig Q12233911, Ludwig Q5048384, Ludovico Q6698984, Ludovic Q7135568, and Lodewijk Q5039608 were grouped as the same name among projects.

Your bot added a WP link i had just removed

Hi, on 6. Feb. 2015‎, OctraBot added the link to uz:Oshxona to Q43164, which I had removed 5 days before. The Uzbek article uz:Oshxona is about a stone-age monument named "Oshxona" – "The Kitchen", not about the term oshxona ("kitchen"). The bot's comment is "← nds-nlwiki", but nds-nl:Kökken hasn't changed since May 2014. How come? -- Olaf Studt (talk) 18:44, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

Bots collected contents from API. Perhaps API returned old cache of the nds-nl content? I found uz link on the 2012 version. Wiktionary categories

Hello. Can you explain what's the difference wikt:th:หมวดหมู่:ภาษาอังกฤษอเมริกัน from wikt:th:หมวดหมู่:ภาษาอังกฤษแบบอเมริกา? wikt:th:หมวดหมู่:ภาษาอังกฤษบริติช from wikt:th:หมวดหมู่:ภาษาอังกฤษแบบบริเตน? --Infovarius (talk) 22:21, 29 April 2020 (UTC)

In Wiktionary, the first ones will be moved into the latter ones due to module logic that categorizes in the form <language>แบบ<country>. อเมริกัน and บริติช are not country words and could not be used with languages other than English. The category moving is in progress. We have more English accents like ภาษาอังกฤษแบบแคนาดา, ภาษาอังกฤษแบบออสเตรเลีย, etc. --Octahedron80 (talk) 00:53, 30 April 2020 (UTC)

You may be interested in this section because, as far as I know, the Thai Wiktionary (th.wiktionary, which you're an administrator of that) mainpage wikt:th:หน้าหลัก is located at Main namespace, to which our policy said that Main namespace pages of Wiktionaries are not allowed for normal linking. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 10:54, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
