Motivation

Together with Nomen ad hoc (talkcontribslogs), we believe Nobel prize ID (P3188) should be split into a handful of properties so that every one is managed more efficiently. The IDs will be shorter – and will thus look much more like actual IDs. And then we'll be able to have tighter constraints and eventually a better use. Take this new Wikidata property related to literature (Q29561722), for instance. We'll now be able to call it very easily through Template:Literature links (Q54933000) and this specific template only. Wikidata:Project chat has been consulted and our suggestion got no opposition.
