Motivation edit
Notified participants of WikiProject Video games
this is a mediawiki based website about video games licenced under cc-by-sa. it provides an impressive list of Strategy guides (Q1631467) and might be helpful to accumulate data about games, levels, characters etc. I plan to add URL match pattern (P8966) → ^https?:\/\/strategywiki\.org\/wiki\/([^#]+)
to the property to quickly add an id to a lot of snes games currently in wikidata--Shisma (talk) 17:55, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
Discussion edit
- Support @Nicereddy:, could you import the StrategyWiki ID's from PCGW? Once the identifier has been created of course --Trade (talk) 19:20, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Comment @Trade: Yep, it looks like it's a Semantic MediaWiki property in PCGW, so pulling it out of the PCGW API should be pretty easy (e.g. https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Special:Browse/:Cyberpunk-5F2077). There are about 1800 of them total in PCGW, not sure how many of those pages have been linked to Wikidata, but probably a good chunk of them are. Nicereddy (talk) 19:30, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
