Motivation
abgeordnetenwatch.de is a non-profit Internet portal that allows German citizens to question their representatives in German parliaments publicly. Users of the site can contact representatives of national Parliament (the Bundestag), German deputies of the European Parliament and of the German federal states.
The abgeordnetenwatch.de ID is a numeric value for all current members of parliaments and candidates running in the elections to these parliaments. abgeordnetenwatch.de is the most complete collection of German parliamentary politicians that is freely available. Data is offered to the public through open APIs https://www.abgeordnetenwatch.de/api
I propose this property in my function as an employee of abgeordnetenwatch.de (database editor) and a member of the Wikidata community. a_ka_es 07:16, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

- Comment I’m not sure I understand the expected completeness (P2429)always incomplete (Q21873886) – is it because abgeordnetenwatch.de doesn’t cover past MPs (before the inception of the platform)? --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 11:01, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Lucas Werkmeister: The database is changing: politicians enter and escape parliaments; it's not a static data set. That's why I decided to use this one. --Andrea - a_ka_es 12:09, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- I was convinced to use "eventually complete". I changed it in the proposal. Andrea - a_ka_es 12:06, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support, I have tweaked the proposal template a bit. I also think eventually complete (Q21873974) would be appropriate here (it's a small database full of very notable people) − Pintoch (talk) 13:59, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

- Support but can we add a constraint to politicians? -- JakobVoss (talk) 20:15, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- @ JakobVoss: I agree. Can you help me with the constraint? Would it go into the proposal template? Andrea - a_ka_es 12:09, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

- Support Though you may wish to change the allowed values to
[1-9][0-9]*
as I think[1-9]\d*
will also match non-Arabic Unicode digits (e.g.1೩
