Planned use	First, adding them to German companies with qualifiers "type of register" and "XJustiz registration court ID"
Number of IDs in source	more than 5 millions only for German companies, but only 20-30 thousands of them have items at Wikidata. So the plan is adding those 20-30 thousands values of "identifier in a register" with qualifiers "type of register" and "XJustiz registration court ID"

Motivation

The same motivation as for Wikidata:Property_proposal/type_of_register:

Germany has many registers. Every register has its own register type which is standardized at https://www.xrepository.de/details/urn:xoev-de:xjustiz:codeliste:gds.registerzeichen. To avoid creating many properties for various German registers and for items they represent, we could create just two properties "type of register in Germany" and "identifier in a German register". Then we could add IDs of German companies from German trade register (Handelsregister) using the property "identifier in a register" with qualifiers "type of register" and "XJustiz registration court ID".

•  Oppose I would want handelsregister IDs to be stored in a way that allows a formatter URL to make it easy for Wikidata's users to look up the country at the handelsregister. The same goes for many other registers. Formatter urls are usually valuable enough to warrent separate properties. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 07:33, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

  I am not sure I understood your argument with formatter URL. Could you please elaborate on it? The external identifiers at Wikidata can have no formatter URLs for non-open databases, right?..

  We cannot provide formatter URLs for the three-part Handelsregisternumbers (Court + Code + ID) because there is no open public database to refer to (handelsregister.de does not yet provide it openly, but it seems it will change soon, and then may be there will be an opportunity to refer to them. Not now though).
