•  Comment What does it mean? "Vehicle" or, I guess, "motor vehicle"? w:List of U.S. states by vehicles per capita is not about all types of vehicles but only motor vehicles according to this source [1] (not bicycles nor carts). Some issues are discussed since 2013 in w:Talk:List of U.S. states by vehicles per capita: "Does it include private automobiles, bicycles, and motorcycles? How about vans or pickup trucks?". This property would be quite unsharp in my opinion. --El Caro (talk) 11:08, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
  • There are many quantities where it's important to keep in mind the determination method when comparing across countries/different levels of government and/or time periods. This is true for numbers like "population" that can appear simple at first sight just as much as for this one. Depending on the use people make of it, determination method may matter or not; may require to make adjustments or not.
