Not done; the person is notable per our policy (as the founder of that newspaper). Note: I was deleting the page when I realized this, then proceeded to try and stop deleting it but the request was actioned. So deleted and restored :-) Ajraddatz (talk) 18:42, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

He is not the founder of El Marino (1917) newspaper. He is the admnistrator of a news blog called El Marino. That blog is not notable. --Warko (talk) 19:14, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

@Pasleim, Warko, Ajraddatz: Sorry, I didn't receive a ping, I just saw this when I looked at requests here. I do know more about the situation, and while Q16738068 has two incoming links (from ruwiki and scowiki) it probably wouldn't last long at enwiki, due to a lack of notability. Warko, El Marino is not a "news blog". It is in fact registered as a newspaper, and covers news as such. So I ask you to stop referring to it in a pejorative way, as you have been doing for the past weeks... The item proposed for deletion is in use in Commons and so it should not be deleted. As for Memoria Pichilemina, it was the name formerly used by El Marino before it was transformed into it. There are plenty of sources, both offline and online, that cover Memoria in depth, and should be notable in most wikis. En.wiki decided it was selfpromotional from me to create it and deleted it.
