Merging items

Hallo NBS,

When you are merging items, please use the Merge.js gadget. It helps you nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Что значит "не синоним"? Эта вещь создана в том числе и для того, чтобы удобнее было искать элемент. Очевидно, что в "метка+синонимы" должны присутствовать оба варианта "Ф,ИО" и "ИОФ". Возможно также ИФ и ФИО. --Infovarius (talk) 19:23, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Вам "очевидно" одно, мне "очевидно" другое, а кому-нибудь ещё "очевидно" что-нибудь ещё - так что приводите ссылку на какое-нибудь обсуждение, где был выработан консенсус по этому вопросу; под определение синонима же это явно не подходит. NBS (talk) 20:09, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

используются для поиска. Я продолжаю настаивать, что элемент с меткой "Александр Сергеевич Пушкин" должен иметь синоним, начинающийся с "Пушкин...". Иначе использование элемента в качестве цели утверждения (например, автора произведения) будет затруднено, а некоторые могут решить, что такого элемента вообще нет и создать дубликат в результате. Создать дубликат не получится; хотя некоторые неудобства при использовании могут быть. Можете предложить какую-нибудь замену для слова "синоним", чтобы вариант "Ф,ИО" корректнее обозвать с точки зрения русского языка? NBS (talk) 07:57, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Так любая улица — адресный объект, в том числе и небольшая. Более того, статья в ruwiki и начинается определением: "Переу́лок — небольшая улица, обычно являющаяся поперечным соединением двух более крупных продольных улиц". -- Sergey kudryavtsev (talk) 14:21, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Добрый день! Поясните, пожалуйста, почему вы удалили все синонимы? Чем их больше, тем удобнее. Если же их планируется как-то приспособить под указание непосредственно на энциклопедию, а не на её сайт, то стоило по крайней мере добавить какой-нибудь синоним вроде «БРЭ (онлайн)». --INS Pirat (t | c) 14:48, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Не согласен, что в этом вопросе должен быть строгий подход. Названия элементов и свойств и синонимы в первую очередь нужны как раз для того, чтобы элементы было просто найти (а нужны ли синонимы ещё для чего-то?). Допустим, Help:Properties (хоть и не правило) рекомендует: «all alternative ways of referring to the property should be added». --INS Pirat (t | c) 17:30, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

Hey NBS, please provide a reason for this revert, since “???” isn’t one. Please mind that type of sport (Q31629) is instanciated a lot (and this is not even close to complete), thus it should have a subclass of (P279) relation. Not sure what the problem is about. Could it be that the ruwiki (and eventually also the ttwiki and ukwiki) sitelinks of type of sport (Q31629) are different than the dewiki sitelink? Call for participation in a task-based online experiment

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.
