The articles, (some of them) that link to the 13 items, that link to this Q17414138, were traditionally linked together by interlanguagelinks and this was migrated to wikidata. I did split it (maybe it was a little bit more involved) to this 13 items. But this 13 items are very similar, more or less. Some users are calling such pages topic disambiguations. Q17414138 let find you the 13 items that are dominated by one topic, but lets the items splitted, but not merged as a mess in one item like special:permalink/93292228#sitelinks-wikipedia. --Diwas (talk) 18:13, 19:33, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

What is the problem with this item? To have an item without the certainty, that it will be the ultimate solution, is no problem. Not a bigger problem, than the use of a property in a way, that has no consensus. There is no time pressure. If wikidata will find a better solution in a consensus, a deletion is possible anytime in the future. --Diwas (talk) 22:45, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

There is even less consensus about creating subs for disambiguation, but you are right: we could postpone deletion and leave it as an example for this option in the discussion on the proper way to do what where trying to do here. I would, however, ask not to create any other items like this until concensus has been reached that this is the proper way to do it, as it may turn out differently and that would mean a lot of work would be needed to revert all the work that has been put into creating and implementing such subitems.
