Requests edit

ruwiki & ukwiki, please. --XXN, 15:29, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. --XXN, 20:02, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
@XXN: how is it working out? I added Autolist links. It currently relies on related property (P1659), but that might be replaced by a specialized property (Property_proposal/..#cct_applicable_property).
--- Jura 05:51, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Works well, I think. Usually I use only first 2-3 columns from report table. --XXN, 00:28, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

cswiki & skwiki, please. --Jklamo (talk) 22:32, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Jklamo: it's available now.
--- Jura 20:49, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! --Jklamo (talk) 22:12, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Looking at Wikidata:Database reports/without claims by site I can say that probably next requested sites will be eswiki, dewiki and itwiki - major projects without such type of reports till now, but personally I do not do these requests right now :)
  • I think that for ~Database reports/without claims by site/~ also is preferable the update-by-request system, like for ~Pasleim/projectmerge~, with a shorter delay only. At least, some small projects like this not always need a daily update, unless there is only one user who works on them, from time to time. --XXN, 00:32, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. The requests I had so far were for lvwiki and rowiki (other than the ones on this page) and with Pasleim we updated the config within a day or so. Hard to say how responsive we should be, especially compared to people around here who get paid to respond to users queries.
For lists that could be handled on a weekly basis, I think daily updates are an advantage. People don't have to go through stale data when working with them. Still, some people want to do a few things every day, others prefer to handle it all at once. Maybe the changes in Wikidata:Database reports/without claims by site could be used to determine if an update is needed.
I'm curious to hear if you manage to make use of the last two columns.

Maybe in future. Currently I prefer to work with languages I know enough and thus category title on client wiki is sufficient for me. --XXN, 19:06, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sometimes I find it easier to define the property to add in the category than with Autolist.

Works better for some wikis than others edit

It seems that the category lists for enwiki, frwiki, nlwiki are difficult to use, but other language versions work better. For enwiki, I need to filter or sort categories differently. nlwiki might already have exhausted this approach.
--- Jura 11:42, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

For frwiki, I attempt to limit the report to categories that are not hidden. The same for enwiki doesn't quite work .. it takes too long to run.
--- Jura 06:58, 5 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

deWiki edit

Please add reports for deWiki. --Harry Canyon (talk) 17:37, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Autolist links changed to PetScan (Q23665536) edit

The new tool is much faster .. Magnus Manske just added an option that limits queries to items without any claims.

Frequent templates in cawiki edit

Would it be possible to add the report frequent templates for catalan wikipedia? Thanks, Paucabot (talk) 04:30, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

mincount for "no claims, by categories/frwiki" edit

The config for report "Items without claims by categories for frwiki" should be adjusted a bit by reducing mincount. XXN, 13:32, 15 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Reduced to 10.[1] Thanks. --XXN, 12:33, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Redirects edit

Is it possible for these reports to skip redirects? - PKM (talk) 07:35, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

There shouldn't be any in it. Every Wikipedia article is linked to a Wikidata item and one can't add sitelinks to Wikidata that are only redirects. Occasional errors can occur (page move bugs, etc.), but it seems rare that entire categories show up with that.
--- Jura 15:30, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
The enwiki list is full of redirects - at least when I click the "duplicity" link. I've posted a comment for Magnus in Bitbucket about this, but I am really curious if that huge enwiki count includes all those redirects. - PKM (talk) 19:16, 2 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Would you have a few samples?
--- Jura 08:02, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Redirects should be skipped. Relevant code line. It is possible that the Labs DB is behind the live site, and the flag hasn't been updated; can't easily fix that. --Magnus Manske (talk) 14:01, 31 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

etwiki edit

I'm going to regret asking for this once I see the list, but can you set this up for etwiki? :) --Reosarevok (talk) 20:27, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Following a database change, most reports have been discontinued. There wasn't much interest in these.
The only ones available are the ones like Wikidata:Database reports/without claims by site/svwiki, but that could also be queried through Query Service.

done: Wikidata:Database reports/without claims by site/etwiki --Pasleim (talk) 08:55, 14 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please add reports for kowiki edit

These apparently exist, but a click on "(all reports)" brings up a petscan which fails to work. Thanks in advance for this. MargaretRDonald (talk) 23:18, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I've added a request to add bot generated reports for kowiki on Github. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 23:30, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
