@Aftabuzzaman: It was a bug in the recent changes feature. In my Recent changes list, the list said you did this diff on the en:Shigeru Miyamoto Page Q12382. I saw only after that was a bug, and undid the revert myfself.

Hey Aftabuzzaman, I just saw this diff and found that almost all of the new constraint violations stem from data imports by you. Please note that name in native language (P1559) should only be used for items about persons and fictional characters; for all other cases, native label (P1705) is the property to be used. There are also plenty of items without any P31 claim in the covi list, which I’d like to ask you to fix as well. In case of questions feel free to ask! @Tahmid02016: ধরুন আপনি "খ" নামের আইটেমকে "ক" নামের আইটেমের সাথে একত্রীত করবেন। প্রথমে "ক" নামের আইটেমের নং কপি করুন (যা Q দিয়ে শুরু হয় যেমন:Bangladesh (Q902) → Q902)। এবার "খ" নামের আইটেমে যান, "আরও" নামের ড্রপডাউন মেনুতে ক্লিক করে একত্রীত লেখায় ক্লিক করেন ও Q নং ("ক" আইটেম নং) বসান। --Aftabuzzaman (talk) 15:12, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Bengali labels for Delhi Metro Stations

Thank you for adding Bengali labels to metro station (Q928830) that are part of (P361) Delhi Metro (Q271195). Your help is appreciated, do consider adding yourself to the list of participants of the Wikiproject if you're interested.

I do not know how to read Bengali, but have feeling that you are appending the word metro station to every label. This isn't required since the name itself doesn't include those words. We do however add a description that specifies what(instance of (P31) and where(located in the administrative territorial entity (P131)) the entity is, for example, metro station in Faridabad, India or metro station in Delhi, India. Would it be possible for you to change your labels, and possibly even add the description where you can? It would be a great help! Thanks. —Prtksxna (talk) 15:23, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Please note that not every station has the description of metro station in Delhi, India since not all stations are in Delhi. As noted in my previous message, we use located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) to decide the description. For example in Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh metro station (Q29025631) the English description is metro station in Bahadurgarh, India, Google Translate tells me that the Bengali translation says Delhi instead of Bahadurgarh. —Prtksxna (talk) 15:43, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

বাংলা উইকিতে নিবন্ধের শিরোনাম / বিষয়শ্রেণী পরিবর্তন করলে তা উইকিউপাত্তে আপডেট হয়না

মাহির বাংলা উইকিতে আমাকে এ ব্যাপারে অবহিত করলেন। বাংলা উইকিতে তো আমাদেরকে হরহামেশাই এরকম নিবন্ধের শিরোনাম বা বিষয়শ্রেণী পরিবর্তন করতে হয়। সবসময় উইকিউপাত্তে এসে পরিবর্তন করতে হলে তো কাজ দ্বিগুণ হয়ে যায়। আমি দেখছি আপনি কষ্ট করে এরকম কিছু হালনাগাদ করছেন। এর কোনও সহজ সমাধান নেই? @Zaheen: নিশ্চয়ই আছে। প্রথমে আমাদের একটি তালিকা করতে হবে, করার পর এই সরঞ্জাম দিয়ে যোগ করতে হবে। আমি নিচে কিভাবে কি করতে হবে তা দিচ্ছি:

• প্রথমে এখানের ১ম কোয়েরি ব্যবহার করে বাংলা উইকির নিবন্ধের নামের সাথে উইকিউপাত্তে দেয়া লেবেলের মিল নেই তা বের করতে হবে। বের করে ফাইলটি .json হিসেবে ডাউনলোড করে নেন।
• এবার ডাউনলোড করা উপাত্তগুলি প্রক্রিয়াকরণ করতে হবে। যেমন: ১। ইংরেজি নামযুক্ত বাংলা উইকির টেমপ্লেটের জন্য আমি উইকিউপাত্ত লেবেল যোগ করতে চাচ্ছি না, যখন টেমপ্লেটগুলির নাম বাংলা হবে তখন করা যাবে। আমি ইংরেজি নামযুক্ত টেমপ্লেট বাদ দিতে চাচ্ছি। আবার এই সরঞ্জামের জন্য উপাত্ত এই রকম সাজাতে হবে: নিবন্ধের নাম(খালিস্থান)Lbn(খালিস্থান)লেভেল/শিরোনাম
  • এই দুটি কাজ একত্রে জন্য প্রথমে আপনার খেলাঘরে {{#ifeq:{{#switch:{{#invoke:String | sub | s={{lc:{{{1}}}}} | -1 }}|a|b|c|d|e|f|g|h|i|j|k|l|m|n|o|p|q|r|s|t|u|v|w|x|y|z=yes}}|yes||* {{{1}}} Lbn {{{1}}}}} যোগ করেন।
  • এবার ওয়ার্ডপ্যাডে .json ফাইলটি খুলেন। এবার ওয়ার্ডপ্যাডের অনুসন্ধান ও প্রতিস্থাপন ব্যবহার করে {"sitelink_label":" কে {{ব্যবহারকারী:Zaheen/খেলাঘর| দিয়ে ও "}, কে }} দিয়ে প্রতিস্থাপন করেন।
  • এবার সম্পূর্ণ ফাইলটি অনুলিপি করে বাংলা উইকিতে প্রাকদর্শন করেন। তাহলে আপনি একটি সুন্দর তালিকা পেয়ে যাবেন। এবার তালিকাটি আরো যাচাই বাছাই করেন। যেমন: অনেক সময় নিবন্ধ দ্ব্যর্থতা নিরসন করতে এক রকম নাম রাখা কিন্তু মূল নাম তা হবে না। সেগুলি বাদ দিন।
  • প্রাকদর্শন করা তালিকা অনুলিপি করে আবার ওয়ার্ডপ্যাডে যান ও সেখানে অনুসন্ধান ও প্রতিস্থাপন ব্যবহার করে করে (খালিস্থান)Lbn(খালিস্থান)^১ করে (খালিস্থান)Lbn(খালিস্থান)^২ দ্বারা প্রতিস্থাপন করেন। ১। এই খালিস্থান উইকি দ্বারা উৎপন্ন ২। এই খালিস্থান এটি কম্পিউটারের space বোতাম দ্বারা না করে ALT ধরে রেখে 09 টিপে দিতে হবে।
• এবার এখানে যান, প্রবেশ করেন। ওয়ার্ডপ্যাডের উপাত্তগুলি অনুলিপি করে বড় ঘরে বসান। ছোট ঘরে First column are articles from এটা bnwiki দেন। শেষ Do it ক্লিক করেন।

Please be more cautious while importing coordinates. It is not possible to import everything blindly, as not every coordinate from wiki is suitable for Wikidata item. For example it is not possible to import coordinates to person item or sport tournament item. We have constraint violations check for that. Deleted empty item

I have deleted Q115185469 because it was empty and wasn’t being used anywhere. An item is empty if it does not have any claims or sitelinks. Unfortunately, such items are not useful to Wikidata, and they are normally deleted. If you were planning to return to this item later in order to complete it, please let me know as I can restore it if appropriate. Remember that all items are expected to demonstrate notability and, although this might not apply in this case, we strongly discourage editors from creating items where they have a conflict of interest, for example about themselves or their employers. Bengali version of main page banner

Hi there! I noticed that you made this edit to Template:Main Page/Header new, asking people to not add the multilingual version of the banner and instead to use File:Wikidata nodes in white (bn).svg, but later you uploaded a new version of File:Wikidata nodes in white.svg with the edit message "bn translation correction". Does that mean that the multilingual file can now be used in the Wikidata main page? Waldyrious (talk) 16:40, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

@Waldyrious, Hi. The main differences is font. File:Wikidata nodes in white.svg render text using "Liberation Sans" & Bengali text doesn't look good in this font (Most likely "Liberation Sans" doesn't even support Bengali & mediawiki uses some ugly font to render it.) If there is not technical problem, it would be great if we keep using File:Wikidata nodes in white (bn).svg. Thanks. আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 19:16, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

Actually, after checking the source code of the two files, it seems like the font family tweak that was applied to File:Wikidata nodes in white (bn).svg can be applied to the multilingual file as well. Hm, this seems to be a generic problem with the file. No other languages seems to be showing the localized strings. Can you confirm? E.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page?uselang=pt also shows the English labels. If this also is the case for you, then we should raise the issue more broadly, likely at Wikidata talk:Main Page. Waldyrious (talk) 08:58, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
