Hello.

Can you recreate the article in Azerbaijani Wikipedia "Azərbaycan kino rejissorlarının siyahısı"? It was erased in Azerbaijani Wikipedia.

This was an interesting article, but it does not have to include every Azerbaijani film director, but only the most prominent Azerbaijani film directors.

I would urge you to create this article again in Azerbaijani Wikipedia like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Azerbaijani_film_directors in English Wikipedia (for instance there are already four Wikipedia articles about List of Armenian film directors https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q5671549 and more care is taken for them, than for topics about Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis).

Hello Araz Yaquboglu,

Can you upload -Kateqoriya:Azərbaycandaki bioqrafiya muzeyləri - in Azerbaijani Wikipedia, just like tr:Kateqoriya:Türkiyədəki bioqrafiya muzeyləri?

There are numerous museum articles in Azerbaijani Wikipedia, dedicated to famous Azerbaijanis, such as az:Bülbülün ev-muzeyi (Bakı), en:Üzeyir Hacıbəylinin ev-muzeyi (Bakı), etc... When you type "ev-muzeyi", they will appear. That is the easiest way to find them, though they may be more, because there are biographical museums that are not just buildings where they lived.

The Wikidata link for this article is Q7937305.

There's not a lot of information on the item, but it appears to be about a distinct entity. I have been unable to locate any external references for this entity, although I'm wondering if it is related to Siege of Najaf (Q85801093). Can you help? Move interwikis rather than merge

Hi. I have been pointed to you merging disambiguation pages and surnames pages; please don't, as they are different things. If the interwikis are wrongly assigned, then please move the links (there is a gadget), rather than merge the items. There are pages around that explain such matters. I should have added, that if you have a surname page, then please it to the surname item. If it is a disambiguation page, then it stays against the disambiguation item. Translation request

Hello.

Can you create and upload the article « Industry of Azerbaijan » (e.g. like az:Rusiyada sənaye/ru:Промышленность России) in Azerbaijani Wikipedia? The article « Industry of Azerbaijan » does not exist in Azerbaijani Wikipedia yet, but should be created since this is such an important sector in Azerbaijan. Can you create it?

I put the previous request for the creation of en:List of Azerbaijani film directors in Azerbaijani Wikipedia, which has been created as az:Azərbaycan kino rejissorlarının siyahısı, back in 2018 as the IP user, when Wikipedia was banned and blocked in Turkey where I live.

Call for participation in the interview study with Wikidata editors

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King’s College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research that develops a personalized recommendation system to suggest Wikidata items for the editors based on their interests and preferences. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I would love to talk with you to know about your current ways to choose the items you work on in Wikidata and understand the factors that might influence such a decision. Your cooperation will give us valuable insights into building a recommender system that can help improve your editing experience.

Participation is completely voluntary. You have the option to withdraw at any time. Your data will be processed under the terms of UK data protection law (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018). The information and data that you provide will remain confidential; it will only be stored on the password-protected computer of the researchers. We will use the results anonymized to provide insights into the practices of the editors in item selection processes for editing and publish the results of the study to a research venue. If you decide to take part, we will ask you to sign a consent form, and you will be given a copy of this consent form to keep.

I could not do it, because of technical problems.

The zoo has been refurbished in 2021. That is why the photo should be updated as well. The old photo is now historical reference in the Wikimedia Commons category of Baku Zoo.

I have reverted your last 2 edits on Q65280074. Neither Shusha or the Shusha State Historical and Architectural Reserve (SSHAR) is an administrative entity. In the Wikidata page of Heydar Aliyev International Airport (Q386864), can you replace the photo of the old terminal (before its reconstruction) File:Heydar Aliyev International Airport, 2009.jpg with the photo showing the new terminal and the reconstructed old terminal File:GYD (2).jpg?

I could not do it, because of technical problems.

Since the airport has been enlarged and refurbished, that is why the photo should be updated as well. The old photo is now historical reference in the Wikimedia Commons category of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Can you replace the old File:Heydar Aliyev International Airport, 2009.jpg with the new File:Международный аэропорт Гейдар Алиев.jpg? It still appears in the Wikidata boxes of the Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport Wikipedia articles. This red building has been renovated and does no longer exist in that form. The old photo of this building is an archive which can be used for the history section in Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport Wikipedia articles.
