- Support. This could be considered redundant to something like length (P2043) (journey time) + duration (P2047); but regardless of whether new redundant properties are considered acceptable, the new property would allow either of those two properties' value to be inferred where only two measurements for the same point in time can be sourced. - Comment I think we decided the way to do this was to use speed (P2052) with a qualifier of determination method or standard (P459) arithmetic mean (Q19033) or something along those lines. ArthurPSmith (talk) 20:52, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

- cruise speed (P2217) is a different concept.--Jklamo (talk) 12:46, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- what is the difference? --Pasleim (talk) 12:56, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Pasleim: "Cruise speed", to my understanding, is the design speed for the state in which a plane or other vehicle isn't accelerating or decelerating, assuming "normal" factors such as no headwinds/tailwinds. This is different from the property proposed here; the existing property is for vehicle types, whereas this property would be for fixed transport services (or for types of vehicles on such services, if applicable).
