I was one of the original Wikidata admins under the username Sven Manguard, but my adminship lapsed in 2015 from inactivity. I'm now primarily active on Commons, but occasionally the work I do there creates the need for uncontroversial deletions here. For example, the CfDs at the bottom of Commons:Commons:Village_pump#Category:Steamboat_Willie are leading to a huge number of items like Q125913491 - items created solely for a Commons category that no longer exists - and it would just be easier for everyone if I cleaned those up myself. As such, I'm throwing my hat in the ring for adminship here again. --The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 06:47, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

editSupport - welcome back! This is a bit of a random and out-of-nowhere comment, but I actually really regret opposing your RfOS a decade ago. I felt like that kind of pushed you away from the project, though maybe that wasn't directly connected. So, happy to support now, hopefully you're doing well, and apologies for my past vote. As for current reasons to support: previous experience, use for the tools, general competence. Not the most active presently, but I don't see any harm in giving them the access. -- Ajraddatz (talk) 14:37, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Agree with the above, usage of the tools will benefit both Wikidata and Commons. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 18:24, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I am Kadı, from Turkey. I serve as an administrator on Wikimedia Commons, Turkish Wikiquote and Turkish Wikivoyage. I am among the top ten most active administrators on Wikimedia Commons. I also work on Wikidata, I tag non-notable items etc. I would like to help WD admins too. Kind regards, --Kadı Message 17:51, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you all for your votes. I withdraw my request, I will make a new request after increasing my edits in the Wikidata namespace. Regards, Kadı Message 07:28, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

editNeutral I would like to see more activity in admin related areas before supporting --Ameisenigel (talk) 20:07, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral Trust is not an issue, but I share similar concerns as Ameisenigel. --SHB2000 (talk) 04:40, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral -- You are of course a trusted user but you made just 156 edits in the Wikidata: name-space, the majority of those in 2022. A more regular activity is normally expected. --Wolverène (talk) 04:47, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

edit- Also conveniently forgot to mention the block log on Turkish Wikipedia. Infrastruktur (talk) 18:21, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @Infrastruktur, thanks for reminding. Here is my block log on Turkish Wikipedia. If you or someone have questions about it, I can answer. Best wishes. Kadı Message 18:25, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Question Could you explain the block reasons? In your opinion, what led to these blocks, and is there something you take away from it? --KonstantinaG07 (talk) 19:45, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @KonstantinaG07, hello. Thanks for your question. I would like to explain all of them one by one. The first block (2020) was about sockpuppetry. I was a new user in 2020. I created an article about my grand-dad Kamil Tolon, an user nominated it for deletion and I created socks to vote keep. In August 2020, I had a conversation with an admin, and then they unblocked me. 6 Month one was about harrassment, I insulted an editor about child protection policy due to misunderstanding. After my block had expired, I messaged to him about the issue, you can check via Google Translate. The other were about VP:İÜY, I made personal attacks to users because of their unjustified claims, which I do not have any violations. I learned to keep calm. Keep calm, answer, do not make personal attacks and move on. This is my motto. I would like to also point out that I did not get any block on Wikis which I serve as an admin. Also in the first months of my Commons adminship, I blocked an user, then the community cancelled my decision. I am respectful to the community, community is significant for me. My aim is to help Wikimedia projects, I also work on VRT and Meta. I love to contribute. If you have more question marks, please feel free to ask me. Kind regards, Kadı Message 20:07, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
