Nakba item
edit@Nicoljaus is edit-warring in Nakba (Q3266633) for his biased changes presenting Nakba as a ‘narrative’ and not as a thing that actually happened and refuses to follow the standard bold-revert-discuss cycle. The page needs to be reverted to the state pre-their edits. stjn[ru] 12:31, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- not as a thing that actually happened - As I said twice, there are two elements on Wikidata, 1948 Palestinian exodus (Q13220089) and Nakba (Q3266633). I just don't understand the complaints. Nicoljaus (talk) 15:45, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- As I said twice, your ideological motivations shouldn’t be the reason to make Wikidata worse. English Wikipedia, for example, explicitly describes Nakba as the ethnic cleansing campaign, not as a ‘narrative’ as you are trying to present it. The fact that there is a separate item for flight and expulsion of Palestinians that you also heavily edited to make more biased does not mean that the item for Nakba should distort historical truth and the way it is described in majority of sources. For god’s sake, you put catastrophe in quotes in Russian description. It does not get more biased than that.
Hopefully Wikidata administrators do not refuse to do anything about your edit warring behaviour. stjn[ru] 18:34, 16 December 2024 (UTC)- your ideological motivations shouldn’t be the reason to make Wikidata worse - what a brilliant words. Yes, the English Wikipedia has become notorious: How Wikipedia’s Pro-Hamas Editors Hijacked the Israel-Palestine Narrative. But this has nothing to do with the reorganization of elements in Wikidata, I still don't understand what you want. No one removed the mention of "ethnic cleansing": [1]. And the fact that "Nakba" is also a narrative hasn't been cleaned out even from the English Wikipedia yet: "The Palestinian national narrative views the Nakba as a collective trauma that defines their national identity and political aspirations". And you continue the edit war: [2]. Not good. Nicoljaus (talk) 22:28, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- First, you can take your conspiracy theories about English Wikipedia somewhere else. Second, you are misrepresenting what you actually did. It is not ‘reorganisation’ to suggest that instead of an ethnic cleansing, Nakba is just ‘a narrative of ethnic cleansing’. It is just genocide denial. If you do not want to get banned in Wikidata as well as English and Russian Wikipedia, as you already are, you are going to stop that genocide denial. Edit war was started by you since you have started and continued to restore your biased edits to the page after they were reverted. ‘Not good’. stjn[ru] 01:19, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- To be honest, I don't know how to respond to this wild mixture of repeated misrepresentations, personal attacks and propaganda slogans. I will only note that the Ru-Wiki admin who blocked me was subsequently banned by the WMF [3] and soon organized the propaganda site Runiversalis, designed to "replace Wikipedia in Russia". Perhaps, in time, the WMF will also be concerned about the situation with the pro-Hamas lobby in the English Wikipedia. And these are not "conspiracy theories", but well-founded research, and it is not the only one, see for example Wikipedia has it out for Israel, and we’ve got the data to prove it Nicoljaus (talk) 08:21, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- What matters is for what you were banned, not by whom you were banned. And in both instances, you were banned for confrontational approach. Unless your conspiracy theory is that English Arbitration Committee is all ‘Khamas’, your block is still justified there. As well as in Russian Wikipedia, since no one overturned it (and judging by how you behave, no one will ever overturn it without significant restrictions). stjn[ru] 14:46, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, as we found out, you started this edit war just to push your POV as the only one that exists, even though there are two different elements here. Well, and also because of your personal hostility towards me, since you are so focused on my person. No other reasons are shown. Nicoljaus (talk) 16:30, 18 December 2024 (UTC)

Running a bot without permission
editJousep Bernhard (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • logs • filter log • block user • block log • SUL (for IP: GUC)) is obviously running a bot without permission. Adding not working links is not helpful, too. -- Plexci (talk) 13:43, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- This appears to be about their use of QuickStatements to add some tens of thousands of JudaicaLink person (GND) ID (P13183) values. I spot-checked a handful of cases, and they appear to be correct. I don't see any broken links.
- See also Wikidata:Properties_for_deletion#Property:P13183. Bovlb (talk) 15:46, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Problem is that this is LTA Tobias Conradi, though. --Dorades (talk) 22:02, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- It's certainly odd that pretty much the only thing they've done here is to propose and then populate a new identifier. That definitely suggests a prior editing history under another account or anonymously. But I'm not seeing clear behavioural evidence linking them to that LTA, nor am I seeing clear evidence for the other accusations. Maybe you should take this to Wikidata:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Tobias_Conradi. Bovlb (talk) 22:26, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't realise that we have another, partly parallel investigation on them (Wikidata:Requests for checkuser/Case/MrProperLawAndOrder/Archive) and which found accounts listed there to be likely Tobias Conradi. Will post the account there. --Dorades (talk) 22:55, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Bovlb Why would it be odd "to propose and then populate a new identifier"? Jousep Bernhard (talk) 01:28, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- It's a purely empirical observation. I review a lot of contributions from new users. Generally it takes them time to understand Wikidata and its processes. Very few of them start off by proposing a new property. Of the handful that do, pretty much none of them do it successfully. You are an exception. To me, that suggests a previous editing history.
- But just to reiterate: I don't think you're operating a bot without permission. I don't think you're adding broken links. So far as I can see, your edits appear to be helpful. Bovlb (talk) 01:39, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. I just copied the PUG authority proposal and adjusted it. Then followed instructions on how to use Quickstatements, it's a simple list that I had to put into a form. Jousep Bernhard (talk) 01:48, 18 December 2024 (UTC)

- @Plexci I didn't engage in 1) "obviously running a bot without permission" nor in 2) "Adding not working links". I did add IDs (values for a newly created property) not links. That the property in Wikidata didn't result in links I posted at the property talk page [4] a page where you posted 13:32 [5] before you posted here at 13:43 [6]. Undeletion request related to a deleted Italian Wikipedia article
editThere was an Italian Wikipedia article on Yogorino (a frozen yogurt chain that operates in over 20 countries) but was deleted and create protected on January 29, 2016 due to it being unencyclopedic/promotional per the deleting admin. In any case, I request that the relevant entry be undeleted so that it can be connected to the Name Suggestion Index database and add relevant links to the said entry such as but not limited to websites and social media presence (this assumes that the Wikidata entry in question previously existed before it was deleted). -Ianlopez1115 (talk) 17:57, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
